Exactly, but in all honesty I thought it would be next year. Not 42 games in. - bryant
It's good.
The mentality being instilled that "we can hold on and win this. I will make that happen" rather than "hope we can hold on and win this. Come on Bozak, make that happen" is not an insignificant difference.
The rooks need to know that they are carrying the mail, and not learn any habits from the try-hards that were here for the 18 wheeler, game 7, 2-29 and the tank job

Was listening to Don granato yesterday, Matthews u.s. junior coach, saying that matthews always needs to be challenged, and he thrives on trying to be the best! - MR.Hunter
So what he's saying is that once Matthews wins the Rocket Richard this year, he will never try to score goals again because it's not even challenging? |

are guys probably pegged as better LW than JVR.
however, I do agree he's a good (fringe) top10-top15 LW.
Didn't even take into count Parise, Sharp etc. in there. - MaximusAurelius
The bolded, yes. Add Panarin too.
The rest? Nope. Saad is the nearest comparable, and he has essentially identical career stats to JvR having spent a lot of time surrounded with much better teammates. |

I'm guessing you did some of the hardcore planting. My cousin did planting near Orillia this past summer and said that for every hard worker there were 10 rich douchefaces with dreams of ecological grandeur and becoming David Suzuki or some poop |

Wife received a call from the Canadian National Women's Gymnastic coach last night asking her to Time judge the floor events at Canadian Elite Championships in Halifax this weekend. Very cool, she will be on the floor for the top Men's and Women's events.
This after working out with several Olympic athletes yesterday morning. Including World 5th ranked Elay Black.. Proud HUbby. |
