I do think Rielly misses games, but that's speculating. Jake Gardiner suddenly could be playing a lot more in that No. 1 spot.

After Andersen's gaff on the 1st Sabre goal, I thought this team would suck the rest of the game.

To my surprise they did not after the 2nd period and no implosion in the 3rd.

Man hope Reilly isn't out for to many games.

Does this mean Corrado will get some playing time?

Did you get to watch? I think we got a little lucky on the ROR breakaway...Hunwick for sure should have got a penalty...then Matthews goes down and scores 30 seconds later. About time we got a couple breaks.

So I heard last night that toronto and Chicago talk about Seabrook at the start of the season not sure how that would of turned out?

I'm one of the folks most critical of Gardiner on a regular basis, but he really looked good when Rielly went down last night.

Zaitsev seems like a good partner for him, they complement each other pretty well.

Then again, it was only one game and against Buffalo no less.

Hopefully Rielly doesn't miss much time. Think they will grab Brad Hunt off waivers and move up Hunwick to 2nd pair with Carrick for the time being?

In reality, I don't think that they played particularly well for the rest of the game. They just have a gift for scoring goals and in this particular case, they played against a team that had a harder time capitalizing on their chances and evening things up.
