I'm sure Steve Stirling is available - Noel Fogelman
I bet Steve would have liked to coach some of this talent. |

Nelson, Hamonic, Soderstrom, and our #1 pick for Duchenne. - lackoffaith
F**k it. Question for everyone for the purposes of sparking discussion: what would the price tag be for the Isles to get BOTH Landeskog and Duchene? Do the Isles even have the ability to put together an enticing enough package? Discuss (and no including JT in any packages). |

Hamonic, Barzal, Pulock, 2017 1st round pick - eichiefs9
Now the other question: would you do it? Honestly, the biggest part of that suggestion giving me pause is the 1st rounder. I can live without the other pieces if Landeskog and Duchene were coming back the other way. |

Hamonic, Barzal, Pulock, 2017 1st round pick - eichiefs9
Yikes! Isles would actually have the prospects to be able to give up this type of talent without giving the farm away. Can we throw Bailey into the deal? |

Yes they do (in my opinion)
Hamonic, Dehaan, Lee, is a starting point, not sure what else to add.... |

It's an Oiler. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! - ses111
Correction. Was an Oiler. Now he coaches the baby Wings. |

The 1st rounder is tough. If I had to include it, I rather switch Strome for Barzal. |

This is going to be a weak draft, so that high pick we're going to get isn't likely to be super-valuable, as far as top 5/10 picks go.
Giving up Hamonic AND Pulock would be the hardest part for me, as Pulock is RH shot as well. Losing two RHD is a tall order.
I think you'd have to consider doing that deal, as tough as it would be to part with that many assets. |

I have no idea what to package, that's why I threw the question out there. Those would be franchise-altering deals for two teams it seems need to make major changes. JT gets not one but two top six forwards to help him, with at least one of them riding shotgun with him on line 1. Colorado turns the page and goes into the thralls of a rebuild, presumably with a pretty good jump start from a deal with the Isles. |

Hamonic, Barzal, Pulock, 2017 1st round pick - eichiefs9
If salary cap is not taken into account, that might get it. The Avs would have to eat some salary or take back a pricey contract to fit them both under at this point. |

Yeah me too, but I doubt COL would even think about that. Maybe we could get them to take Beauvi or MDC instead of Barzal, but I have my doubts about that as well. |

Have to eventually trade Lee bc Ladd & Landesklog play similar style as Lee, cant have 3 LW that are alike
Plus have to give up salary bc of salary obtained |

You keep Barzal add those two from Col and you really have something. Your top 6 is pretty much set. |

Yeah that wouldn't work with the salaries. Their goaltending is a tire-fire, maybe they would want Halak.? Not that getting rid of him fixes the cap issues.
Dutchy/Landy make a combined $11,571,429. I'm not sure that we could shed enough salary to make acquiring both of them worth it. |

That 1st pick isn't going to be as valuable as it's been the last few years. Seems to be a fairly steep drop off after the first 2 or 3 picks.
Giving both up would be tough, but you have to give to get. Not sure that the Avs would bite on that offer but that's pretty much as high as I'd go. Unless they wanted to start throwing back a prospect or 2, I wouldn't add to it. |

COL needs Dmen in the worst way and is the hardest to develop, adding to young players in Hammer & Dehaan to go along w/EJ & Barrie immediately upgrade their top 4 and help the rebuild/retool faster for the fanbase. Team is McKinnon's now |

Fun to think about adding those two just not realistic. Adding one would be great. |

No, but it'd be a start. If they could shed one or 2 of Bailey, Grabo (impossible), Kuli or Halak for a couple picks, you might be able to free up enough space. Still not sure if that'd be enough though. |
