Bring me Kevin Dineen or John Stevens

I have no interest in Gallant. He's one of those old-school coaches who loved having the goon-idiots in the lineup. I don't know really anything about Krueger.

Who is this Ralph Krueger you speak of? The OIlers sure gave up on him quickly.

I like the idea of Kevin Dineen or Crawford as top choices.
- ses111

I think Dineen would be an excellent choice, but I'm not sure if the Hawks would grant him permission to talk with the Isles and/or leave for them.

He was the Yak whisperer.

Mac T canned him to hire his own boy Eakins.

Cappy was an effective coach with younger and college players but this squad needs to grow up and be held accountable.

Snow did a good job with drafting and draft day trades but they do lack the undrafted free agent type who bring competitive snarl that some clubs find.

Also not good at making trades that reshape the roster. High risk trades when the GM has a blinkered goaltender perspective. Very little that comes out of his mouth reveals a real understanding of his roster.

Owners have a nice arena but can't expect half filled seats home games against non-rivals to make the players feel motivated.

Huh? I'll give you that he made some decent trades to move up or into the first round, but his actual drafting was marginal at best. Bailey and Reinhart were complete reaches at their draft positions. Ho-Sang would have fallen to the second round and he moved up to get him. MDC, we're still waiting for him. Man, there aren't but a couple guys from the second round of the '14 draft that are in the show. Snow is the biggest part of the problem. I get that there is no development with the young talent. That's why I'm reserving judgment on them until a real coaching staff takes over.

Everyone stay away from SNY. They have a Bailey love fest article going on.

This is just a little from Andy Graziano. Sorry for promoting others Dan and Noel.

Josh Bailey is who he is. He is what he is. Regardless of who you want him or expected him to be. A responsible two-way hockey player who brings defensive responsibility to a first line which is centered by your best and most dynamic offensive star, adding some offensive flair of his own every now and then.

I'm still trying to figure which young players and college players Cappy has been effective with.

Gallant just seems like he's a similar type of coach as Crappy. Only better. Not sure I want him now. In the same boat as you as far as Krueger.

If Vegas hires him I'll become a fan. If the man could make Yak a top 6 winger imagine what he could do for Strome.

Cut him some slack. He obviously has obstructed view seats. He only sees what he does in the offensive zone. The second period he spends getting popcorn, using the head and/or below sight line in Snow's suite.

I swear his stick is glued to his gloves in the D-zone. He doesn't skate, he doesn't even attempt to poke check or swing his stick along the ice to take away passing lanes and he stands against the boards. He's the worst version of Radim Vrbata.

What they write, you'd swear they were on the Isles payroll. I mean, what the are they watching to say that Bailey is a defensively-minded player? Get your prescription refilled man.
