I wouldnt say Sam Bennett is terrible, we have a very comparable player in Mark Letestu who is still better at this point. Sam is young though, he will probably end up just as good in a couple of years.

Agreed DD.....that being said, every team goes through an offensive slump at some point during a season. Just gotta find a way to cut it off before it becomes a drought!

So do agree with Jonny and monahan with Bennett. I didnt see the oiler game but the devils game I thought Bennett was the best forward out there. And that was with chasson on his line. So he should play better with money on his line. Chasson just keeps getting top line play! I don't get it! I would understand if he was all we had.But we have options!! I would rather put Hathaway's grit extremely hard work get the job done at all cost up on that line. Anybody but chasson he needs to be further down in the lineup

I watched Chaisson last game, he gets plenty of opportunity both even strength, pp, and penalty kill. He's young, big, a natural right wing and does possess some talent. I agree he's not the answer for the top line but neither is Hathaway. Until we trade or draft someone to fill that spot I don't see them moving him.
I've bin saying for a while to move Bennett with 13 & 23, not sure why this hasn't been tried. Sometimes it's so easy sitting in my chair yelling at the tv, I just don't get it!
