yep.
there's only one way Habs can match them. trade Price to patch holes and hope Lindgren can do like Murray last year.
otherwise, bonsoir, ils sont partis. |

I think there's a poop load of options, the first would be for you to give that massive towheaded lump of cheese you call a head a shake...(frank)ing pray Lindgren pulls a Roy? or pray Bergevin gets a better version of Rucinsky and Thibault? (frank)ing nonsense. 1st in the division right now...losing B2B games? Trade Price. |

must be. too bad the canadiens have one of the few elite goalies in the league and now, at least one, fan is saying trade him and hope for the best.

if you're happy with finising 1st of the worst division, suites you.
we're talking cup chances. they have none with that lineup. what do you do?
nothing? wait? wait for what? for Price and Pax to re-sign bigger contracts leaving less for the rest of the lineup? you trade picks and prospects for a rental? might help, but won't be enough.
what do you guys want? a good little regular season team or a cup?
I'm not saying they absolutely need to trade Price, but they sure won't win the cup with that lineup. and with the weber trade, one would think MB wants to go for it.
what are these other options you're talking about? |

exactly,
when you have a good team, a very good team, you don't need the best goalie in the world (who hasn't prove anything in the playoffs btw). Pens won with Murray for Christ sake!
my point is Habs would have a very good team if they get a good return for Price.
of course, if there's a way to improve the team without trading Price, I'm open. but I don't see how that's possible. |
