Also - Leafs have only played 41 games. If you make a reasonable adjustment for games played, they are sitting comfortably in 6th place in the East

They currently have two games in hand on Buffalo. So that 5-point gap is more like 7 or 8, realistically

MSG is all about the Rangers/Knicks. SNY is all about the Jets. There's YES which is the Yankees channel. Sabres/Bills have some time on MSG right now but not much. Nope. Not one bit. That's what I expected when the rebuild started, a slow process with a ton of young high end talent.

What I did not expect was to spend a ton of cap space, trade out a ton of picks, bring in 80% of a new blue line, almost a whole new forward core, all within 3 years, and still be a bottom 10 team.

I don't think we will be bad forever, I think picking Eichel and getting ROR will prevent that, but we all "suffered" so we could eventually watch a team that contends for years.
