Only truth that I see is that you're not a fan of Steve Mason. Nothing new around here. This month could be the first Neuvirth has over .900 since February of last year. But at least he played well against the capitals!

Both goalies have been lackluster.

I think people were hoping the competition and with both goalies being UFAs, you were going to see the best from both.

At this time the only goalie I am resigning is Stolarz(which I protect in the expansion draft) and maybe Neuvirth on the cheap to compete or be a back up and expose in the expansion draft.

Right now I wouldn't commit any big money to either goalie.

That total BS. I was a huge fan and supporter of Mason when he was playing well over a three year period, and defended him when he had bad stretches during that time. But he's been very poor for three months now, and it's OK to admit that.

Neuvirth has only played a dozen games. If he's still below .900 after 20 or 30 then he will also have had a Bryzgalov-style season.

Richard move (if true) but still nowhere near Kane level of subhuman.

I think the fact that they will not commit to him beyond this season bothers him.

I don't think anyone has suggested we do so. It is shaping up to be one of the biggest buyers markets in any offseason that I can ever remember. Hextall could very well end up resigning Neuvirth and letting Mason go. It could end up being the best move, but that decision won't be based off of a lot more than a few months of getting hung out to dry

What did Kane do, aside from beat up the cabbie, and be wrongfully accused of rape 2 summers ago?

I agree Kane is a Richard, but he's not exactly Billy Tibbets.

MacKenzie pointing out on twitter that it was two years ago that a floundering Wild team with the league's worst SV% traded for Dubnyk, who went .936 down the stretch and got them into the playoffs.

When the mother of the accuser is caught tampering with (and planting) evidence, kind of seems like something shady's going on with the accuser.

Have you seen him in the All-Star advertisement? He tries to sound like scarface and it just comes off real bad. He sounds like he's having a medical emergency.

No, as he was going to the box, the Seantors went after him (while he was being restrained by a ref), which is what started the initial brawl.
- jmatchett383

Well yeah, sure, once the linesman was restraining him they got real brave.

The only thing the people in attendance missed was Danny Markov being a raving lunatic in the tunnel. Loved that guy.

I'd hit the reset button with the line up and try to put players where they are most comfortable. Some major gaps with the bottom six and blue line of course make finding the right match pretty challenging. Only hope is a re-energized focused group after the break.
