One of my favorite stats/fancystats from this year. Of the two Flyers that lead the team in CF%, one leads the team in GF% and one is last (active) in GF%. Good thing he shoots wide all the time to get all those corsis

Subtle...I have been tracking all that for most of the season. Raffl was leading for a while, but carries around that anChor

And if you just go by GF%, Ghost and VdV are basically the same player.

And continuing the conversation with regards to Ghost being on the ice with VDV and PEB.

Ghost GF% with PEB = 30%
VDV = 11%
Gordon = 0%
Lyubimov = 29%

So...there are 6 players on the Flyers where Ghost has a GF% greater or equal to 50% with...
Streit/Provy/Laughton in very minimal ice time...but the others
Konecny = 62%
Read = 50%
Coots = 60%

Just some fun stuff to look at...not trying say Vandevelde sucks

edit: Vandevelde sucks
^ that time I was trying

And looking at all these fancy stats, Giroux is a mother (frank)ing dumpster fire at even strength.

He kind of has been though. Not dumpster level but a far cry from the elite 5v5 numbers he was putting up as recently as a couple years ago.

I think Giroux and Ghost have suffered the biggest drop in 5 on 5 production outside of Schenn. I have to believe they will all improve as the season goes on. Unless old age caught up with them at 29, 23, and 25.

I still use goals and assists, which is basically like writing in cuneiform at this point.

On stone tablets. Goals are so random.
