I my mind they are the same. Give Nash some steroids. - tomburton99
I'm not knocking Nash really but maybe you guys can give me your opinion. I think Nash is a better all around player than Tavares a good pk man very good on d always backchecks and no water skiing. Jt a better offensive player. All things equal I would take Nash every time imho.

I would take John Tavares over Rick Nash in like 5 tenth's of a second, and I am one of the more pro-Rick nash guys

Yeah at this point absolutely. If they both came in the league at the same time, it would be what your team needs. A center or right wing. Couldn't go wrong with either. Both put up fantastic numbers on crap teams
Arod had one great playoff run for the Yankees. Just saying ... - Pete V
That's very true but how many times were the Yankees up by 6 or 7 runs and a rod is hitting grand slams and when down 2-1 in the eighth with two men on he hits into a dp.

Really why? I hope it's because he's younger because as an all around player it's not even close to me jt is a terrible defensive player and doesn't kill penalties.

I'm going with Tavares, imagine this (yes I know someone would be traded everyone relax)
Tavares
Zibanejad
Stepan
Hayes

I like guys who can score overtime goals and not hit the post

Next year is going to very interesting with Tavares. UFA after the year is over, and he's going to have to make a decision whether he wants to sign long-term with the Islanders. If he isn't giving them the warm and fuzzies by mid-year, they would seriously have to think about trading him. Not to mention, the organization would probably be well-served to do something that shows him it won't just be the status quo.

I would put my money on him leaving as that org is heading in the wrong direction big time
