traditionally, all of us are the same

But we also have never had Marner and Matthews in the past, and haven't had a competent starting goalie since Eddie Belfour.

Changes things

- WingmanWillie

i think the combination of Marner and Matthews both panning out at the same time and a goalchie who doesn't shiite the bed have been the biggest factors.

Even when there was a decent goalchie in past, i think the pressure to save the team all the time ruined him... eg: Bernier was great in the west with a competent team in front of him, but was ruined trying to bail out the team in toronto most nights.

i don't actually even care what kind of season Toronto is having. i'm just curious about the general feeling.

judging by the reaction to my legitimate question, which was not trolling, i can see some people are overly sensitive and highly strung.

2/10 for trolling, basically means I wasn't trolling... if I was trolling, i'd get a higher score. so thanks for recognizing.

He's back in the West with a strong defensive team and posting a .904/2.85. I'm thinking he's too small and sucks is more likely.

fixed

Clear trolling attempt. The attempt was poor and predictable, hence the low score.

no. cuz if i did, i'd be on there pouring salt in the wound when the leafs lose or have a setback. Instead, i've posted on here after a run of 8-1-1 that sees the team in the playoff picture.

why do you guys find it so hard to believe that someone could ask a question out of genuine curiosity about the current mood.

i think you've become too sensitive and choose to attack anyone and everyone who might come onto your board.

if you recall i started posting on here in the summer regularly after the Nux board got shut down for a couple of days.

i didnt' attack you guys or your team at the time. not sure why you would think i'm just out of hte blue coming on here to start some shiite when that is not the case.

you can read into my question whatever you want, but it's not accurate to say i was deliberately or intentionally 'trolling' here.

i just wanted to know if people here feel things are different than in the past where a good run or hopes being raised have proved to be a mirage before and people were seriously disappointed.

he was a solid guy in the Pacific and a 1b kind of goalchie before coming over to hte leafs which is why they got him in the first place. i htink they just didn't do enough or the right things on D to help him and the team be successful when he came on board.

You have friends?

Seriously though, babs already told us all to chill with expectations....so we're chilling.

Because you didn't. You clearly asked a question you already knew the answer to. Now (frank) off or Marwood is going to report you.

No. actually I didn't. i was genuinely curious about what the run of good fortune has wrought in the minds of leafs fans.

i don't bring it up like I said with the people i know since they are overly sensitive and in a forum like this it might be possible to have a civil conversation with some people.

You'd be better off just saying "yeah, you're right... I'm trolling but seriously, when will the Laffs collapse again? LOLZ".... You'd at least get an honest response to an honest question that way....

I'll say it again. He is now playing in the Pacific with little pressure and a solid team in front of him, but not a 1b or anywhere near good because he's too small and he sucks. Hot wife though.
