I don't think you or Arctic are following. To increase the high, most weed available anywhere have had CBD phased out of it despite the science that says that CBD was the reason it isn't addictive, and that it actually helped stop side efffects like early onset schizophrenia and other bi-polar reactions.

My comment is that if we were going to legalize it, it would have been a good thing to get the CBD back into it.

As for it not being addictive...once upon a time it wasn't at all, but the way it is being produced today, with no CBD and higher THC, well, guess what, it is.

First of all, they tested what, 3 shops in Toronto? When I smoke i don't measure the THC or CBD levels.. you either like it or you don't. Some people like a heavy kush, some like a sativa.. you guys are talking about THC levels the same way you'd talk about alcohol %... there's no comparison. With weed you smoke until you hit your desired level of high.. alcohol you drink until you're drunk and unfortunatly most people don't know when that it. People will be allowed to grow their own, and if they don't like these apparent THC only strains then they'll grow one to their liking.

But this is almost exclusively what I refer to as "city weed". Which, granted, is far more powerful, but isn't what I would call my "go-to". It is enjoyable, albeit on a different level than the stuff I'm talking about

I have certain dealers I will buy from, and others I say no (frank)ing chance. Because I see what their poop has done to my buddies. The Marketplace interviews (not all in the show) answered many of my questions why. My wife made me watch it and all the footage (she works for the show as an editor) and i don't regret it.

Yeah, I do. I was a tree planter for three years, it was a necessity. Will I still smoke it? Damn right I will. Do i think its harmful? Well knowing what i know now, I'm a lot more cautious.

As for anxiety and paranoia subsiding, yeah, it does. I fall asleep now whenever I smoke it. But the poop I smoke now isn't the poop I smoked when I was 19-26
Want to know something else? I'm 37 years old today, and several of my buddies who smoked it regularly with me....guess what....they have Schizophrenia, and have been told they are no longer allowed to smoke weed (but of course they still do).

Seriously, watch the test part of the Marketplace show. There's a reason for the anxiety and the paranoia in the first place, and there's also a reason why it subsides. It's not because you built up some sort of tolerance.

Not reading back on whatever is going on in here but on your part about mental health. Weed doesn't cause these things or develop them, it can exacerbate or reveal them however. Whether it's good or not that these issues can reveal themselves is debatable really.

Source; I have a friend who had some underlying issues and when he became perma-stoned his mental health issues started coming through in the worst way.

It's been theorized that narcotics will draw out symptoms in people that are genetically predisposed to the condition.

The danger is in that it happens suddenly instead of slowly.

Yeah a few of my buddies have started bringing around these "shatter pens" for convenience and because they don't really smell

I didn't find they affected me too much differently, but I really think that's due to my heavy pot use in my late teens and early 20's. I'm able to identify when these random feelings of apprehension or whatever start to show up, and can usually shrug them off for what they are, which is just me being baked hah

I know that my life currently really only allows for the odd party or a weekend. Twice, 3 times a month at the very most, and I don't have any adverse effects

In fact, I find I get way more high and have a better time when I am not a chronic smoker

I'm anywhere from 4-7 days a week in the evenings. I don't find it makes a difference without. I guess I'd be considered high (hehe) functioning though. I generally cook and clean after a couple one-hitters. I zen out so hard when doing food prep
