A bidding war between Flyers and Isles for JVR would be nice.

What would the Isle's send us that tops what Philly could?

So exciting, even though I'd rather not trade him.

- Garnie

Who would you want?

Hamonic...Gudas?

nah, the times they are a changing

JVR gets traded for Fowler in June and Shattenkirk signs in July

next season D lines up like:

Rielly-Shattenkirk
Fowler-Zaitsev
Gardiner-Carrick

Pretty decent looking back end there, and less than 30 mil combined. I'll take it!

- WingmanWillie

Looks super. But I think you're underestimating how much Shattenkirk will make this off season.

Hamonic or leddy from nyi.
Phi i'm not too sure, don't think they'd trade simmonds (would love him on the leafs).

Simmonds + provorov

For

Jvr + willie

- MaximusAurelius

I would not do that.

[quote=lumlums]Well, you all do have some interesting wine...

I have never purchased a bottle of wine made in Nova Scotia... Maybe only 3 bottles of Canadian wine,,,, ever..

The good stuff is way, WAY over priced. All the other is crap.. JMO.. We DO NOT have a long enough growing season for the quality grapes.

Philly doesn't do that, but I am not sure the Leafs do that either.
- Aetherial

Might be just me, but Provorov is something else man.

If I'm the Leafs and I'm getting a grittier (better?) forward with Simmonds and Provorov, I do it in a heartbeat.

This being said, this is only a classic maximus trade scenario nonsense.

I dont mind that.
However, Gardiner would be an expensive 3rd liner.

Yeah, but they could trade him then

4.05 is not really that much in today's NHL

Yeah, I like a lot of the Cali wine but find it way overpriced also.

I usually go for Chilean, South African or Aussie... southern hemisphere all the way

I'm staunchly against trading Nylander right now, but would do this. Simmonds is signed through 18/19 (his age 30 season) at 3.9m AAV.

VQA wines are ridiculously overpriced.

You mean I could get this poopty wine trucked 90kms from Niagara for $5 more than that Tuscan Chianti that was shipped across the ocean from a vineyard that's been in operation for 300 years? Sign me up!

It's about as inconsistent as one might expect. I do have a bottle of the Whole Foods equivalent, so will update in due time

You want to explore Spanish wines.. Amazing. Many different grapes not typically offered at the Local stores.. Find a specialty store.

Speaking of wine... I noticed the new wine section in the local grocery store. Problem was it was 10:30am at the time, and the wine was under lock and key until 11am.

WTF Ontario? Why do you need to police the time of day I can buy unopened bottles of booze? Are they worried there will a constant stream of dirty hobos lined up to buy bottles of wine with quarters and dimes at 8am every morning? The whole point of selling it in grocery stores is the convenience of availability.
