Yeah, fun game. Pogba was (frank)ing brutal, but otherwise it was decent.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is definitely starting to settle in and become a bit time player... with him, Mata, Martial and Rashford behind Zlatan there's no reason why we can't out-score most other teams in the league

Pogba is possibly the most inconsistent big time footballer I've ever seen. Capable of so much, and so little with random shifts between the two. I have to say I feel a little bit the same way on a lesser scale about Jordan Henderson (he's not "big time"), though he is playing injured atm.

That stupid tournament (frank)ed up the schedule. With many teams struggling with injuries this season, leafs many benefit and make it.

Do you guys think we can avoid the 18 wheeler and sneak in? A playoff round would be extremely valuable experience

And they wonder why they don't do well on the international stage. Basically there's only 40 guys to pick a squad of 23 from.

Eh. Kind of like splitting hairs about the "National" Hockey League, innit? I mean, the league IS in England....

I don't think any people who actually watch football wonder about the England team at all and why they lack success. They have no winning mentality.

He ain't big time, Frenchie. It's all over for that boy. And I'm glad you didn't post a pic of him in a Liverpool jersey. I'm sure its coming next...

There's nothing to suggest an incoming 18 wheeler scenario.

This team is so much more vibrant than past teams. Good, goalie with a decent backup I think they'll make a run.. if they can get passed the first round that would be huge.

No, seriously, two Stanley Cups.

Shocking more Leafs fans don't know this.

Let's hope the 18 wheeler is still stuck in a snowbank in Montreal

What are you talking about?

They are a dominant team...

Clichés are often used as tool for deflecting a more obvious problem..

England just isn't good at football anymore. Other countries have passed them by.. blame it on economics or whatever but I don't think there's any resurrecting that beast.

Pretty sure it would be a first round exit, which would be fine. Hawks and Penguins weren't even near the playoffs in their first year after drafting franchise players

You are also possibly guilty of cliche here. I believe there are good players from England, quite a few in fact. There is a huge gaping hole in the belief and leadership mentality with that national team. In short, they need their own version of a Shanaplan.
