Madmike said the other day his biggest prob wasnt with dmen, but rather with blasé defense from the fwds. Agree 100%. Decreased pressure on the puck usually is Exhibit A for a team that's not going to repeat. Injuries, too much hockey, and arrogance all blunt the hard edge required. And the annoying personal quirks that get overlooked while the quest is fresh, become the petty venom that poisons a room. Especially true for a Torts protégé like Sully. The task-master goes from welcome disciplinarian to unbearable a-hole without warning.

Suddenly you resent taking orders from a Rob Riggle character. When he gets up in your face, all you're aware of is that nasty vinegar and tzatziki smell on his breath, not his message. You resent him slipping out so much to meet his "little friends" at the Grant Street and his "students" at Peter's (though you've done the same or worse). You just roll your eyes when he starts name-dropping all the famous people that came from Marshfield (none of whom he actually knows... except Warsofsky... and Roenick). And you get mad, after slapping-down the team last yr for ref chirping, when he gets himself ejected this yr for just such behavior (and prob costs the team a "teach u2 question us" G.I. call the next game vs a fragile DRW team). It all adds up. Has "the Window" closed again (another SEVEN YEARS of settling for good reg season, and then out in 1st or 2d round)?

Um....well.....I kind of just think it's a temporary loss of focus after the bye week. Every team goes through slumps during a long season. They were chewing teams up before the break.

Honestly I think the forward group is sucking more than the defense

Your location, much like your personality, gives me a headache. A bunch of letters and numbers that don't go together. Congratulations

Capotals have size speed skill and play physical. If theres one team thats going to give us problems its them.

5th shot of the game ends up in the back of the net yet again with Murray in net, will this trend ever end?

What a bunch of dumb asses. Two behind the net and neither touch the guy behind the net who passes it to wide open Backstrom in the slot. I have one word for this team right now. D-U-M-B!

Can we just load up two lines so we don't get shut out?

Malkin looks annoyed with Hornqvist. Rust blows 3-4 prime chances with sid each game. HBK hasn't worked all season. Seems too obvious yet this is how many games in a row without a change in RWs...

Always look at the bright side, at least now we won't have to read holeinone's repetitive nonsense.

I think due to lack of personnel we have to completely abandon the 4 line model. There is just not enough talent. Two scoring lines and the other two just tread water...

Hopefully.
