I don't know if Canucks TV/media are just pumping his tires but Horvat seems to be one of the most dedicated guys on the team. Constantly wanting to get better. You don't really hear what other guys are doing in the summer (apart from Sbisa and his interview). Horvat picks one or two things he thinks he is not good at and focus's on those things and in one summer, seems to be much better than the average NHL player at it lol

He's got the personality you hope you get when you draft a kid. Really hardworking but low-key. I cant imagine him partying too much and just really wants to be better every day. He apparently also just has a knack for building strength

Look at Tort's coaching staff when they were with the canucks. It looked like they had no clue. Take those same people and put them in a situation where they have skill and depth to work with... all of a sudden they can coach again. And not just coach well but make a visible difference to the team’s success.

Guilty as charged. I skim through but only really took notice when people start calling each other names.

I'm ok with the hazing culture here but none of us know what we are talking about because none of us really have a stake in this thing. So, no need to get really upset about any of this.

Said the same above, skill and depth. A respected veteran captain who has bought into your plan and a core of youth players that you know you can control contractually so you can take your time to develop.
