Annoying to watch 3 straight extra time losses, but points in 9 of 10 games is still pretty good. Markstrom didn't give that extra save tonight, though we should've had another goal or 2 for him

They have blown gift chances. Common pattern offensive pressure was low and PP units bad. May see some changes for next game. You see Megna getting benched after bad play for goal that was recalled. Chaput took his shift. Give the Preds a new look?

The one good point he had was that you cannot argue that the guys playing the PP are the best offensive players on the team. I'm not defending the lack of change but there's only so much you can do with very little forward depth. Need to change strategies not personnel.

On pace for 85 pts…but if Jarvis was coaching we'd be on pace for 105.

Peace out all…'til the morrow.

I wonder how many loser points and shootout points combined they have? Keeping them in a race they have no business being in. Well that and goaltending, on occasion.
- LeftCoaster

isn't that most teams? anyways good effort on to the next game in this transitional time were in.

I don't believe so, it really varies.

The talent level on this club has to change. They have had a bad PP since 2012

It's not a quick fix thing they can do though, takes time to draft kids to increase that talent or to build a solid strength at one position to where you can move someone.

I think they could currently trade Tanev to help now though.

The Grey Cup is longest running pro team sports trophy going.
The camera angles & big field r not exactly sexy but the NFL hype comes up short too often. Its a made in America tradition throughout their sports. They luv dragging out games whether its MLB or NBA with its time outs or the NFL's 10mins of actual playing time. The mere fact SB commercials become a topic says much lol

- Nighthawk

You lost me when you said pro lol.

Nfl is better by a million miles and it isnt even close

I cant get through a cfl game to save my life

Do you like this beauty From WD:

"We made changes on the Power Plays. So more change isn't needed. Even if we do it takes another 3 or 4 games to gel. So I'm sticking with this for 3 or 4 games."

Changes he did prior to road trip. Took Stecher off PP1 added Edler. Put Megna on PP2. Wait that's an older one running how many weeks now?

So changing up strategy or people not an option. You hear that Rodin and Boucher? Bo & LE stay put too.

Not enough but I'd like that! Even if they traded for a really offensive dman to help the PP.

Tanev for Gostisbehere??

Yup, like to see them be more proactive there but they are dealing with a lot of ntc's.

Defensive play, but he's been putting up good offensive numbers. He gets caught up ice because he presses offensively. No points in his last fives games though.

The Flyers "D" have 149 points collectively, most in the league, Canucks have 77.
