Sather almost every year it seemed going back to his first few years here signed a tough guy or 2 in the summer. Matthew Barnaby, Chris Simon, Brashear, Boogaard, Mike Rupp, Michael Haley (an AHL tough guy), Asham & most recently Glass.

Sandy MccARTHY was a trade I think, or I would have added him...& Barnaby was a trade, w Tampa early in the 2001-02 season, had to look that one up.

Agree...but smaller guys like Theo Fleury never toned it down and they played a similar game; though, TF scored a lot more often.
