Toronto would never do it for that reason alone

Not at age 32 with an injury his as a member of this team. JVR is 5 years younger.
- tomburton99

and JVR is not at the same level Nash is either and will never be. I understand the health/age factor but 32 is not 38 and he is under contract for one more season, Rangers can let him go, extend him with a lower cap.

Nash can be a game changer, don't expect that from JVR

and Nash is UFA after next season, same with JVR

Both teams would want to trade with a team that will give them a great young prospect + picks, obviously Nash is worth more IMO (if you look at both players possibly being with their new team for 1 year only)

Pittsburgh, Washington and Columbus don't have nearly the issues we have, 4th is the best we will finish maybe 5th if Raanta is out long term, unless Gorton saves this team it will be another futile year for Rangers fans, the cock tease organization

One of my favorite Bill Murray movies. The whole part of the movie where he is depressed and suicidal is like this fan base.

That's OK, I drank for you.
Fellas wanted to watch hand-egg, so after that was over we watched Train to Busan. Fun movie.
Made 6 gallons of Wee Heavy, but forgot to take gravity , racked 4.5 gallons of fermented cider onto a gallon of fresh, 2.5 gallons onto 1/2 gal of fresh and added 1oz Citra hops, 2.5 gal onto 1/2 gal of fresh and 1/2 cup of grated ginger.
Busy night.

Can't argue that Vin

I'd rather it be the groundhog day that makes it to the playoffs, then the groundhog day that doesn't.

We have a serious Goaltending issue. We have a number one, who is making 8.5M a year, who is a future 1st ballot HOFer and owns every team goaltending record, and will have his number hanging from the rafters, who also, sometimes this year cant stop a beach ball.

What I cant figure out is how he can make 3 fantastic saves in a row, and then pucks fly past him like he's blindfolded. Last night, Montreal's 3rd goal, I know Hank was screened, but the puck was at the point. Why was he down on his knees? If it was to find the puck, it didnt work, he never saw it until he was digging it out of the back of the net. His 5 hole has been the Grand Canyon this year, it seems 80% of the goals he allows are going there. Maybe he should keep his stick ON the ice, since so many pucks go under it.

We lost that game because Raanta got hurt. The Bell Center is the last place you want to throw Hank into a game unexpectedly. It is his personal House of Horrors.

Antti - 20 mins 0 GA
Hank - 40 mins 5 GA

Last night I think we scored more goals on price than we have the last 9 games there combined, and we still lost !

Like every Ranger fan, I love Hank, but he is playing like crap this season. I just hope this is temporary, because if not, this is going to be a really ugly situation.

No doubt about that. Rather watch a team that is winning than suffer through a team like the Yotes.

they have to protect Lundqvist in expansion draft, he has a NMC, no way around it
- jimbro83

I said that in my post, but if he were to waive his NMC

What happened to Raanta?

At 8.5 million per year you need to be an elite goaltender. He's not getting any better and we have prospects that we can't hold back 5 years for Lundquist to finish contract(.Shesterkin has 1.55 GAA in khl. ) really need to look at moving him now while market is good and he hasn't totally deteriated. IF he doesn't want to waive ntc, then just sit him and let one of our prospects get a chance at showing what they got.

LBI. Looked like he was pointing to his knee when he was talking to Ramsey at the bench. Who knows though.

AV refuses to say Hank let in some soft ones. First 20 minutes they played fine. Hank looked lost and seemed way off the game.

That's my biggest problem. Nobody criticizes him, yet he blames team first and then says he needs to be better as an afterthought. I think team plays better with Raanta. I think they're intimidated by Hank
