Fast is a perfect 4th line player & AV loves him. Why this dude has such a hate hard on for him makes no sense.
- B2B76

We're losing games because of Goals Against, not a lack of Goals For. Benching our best and most consistent defensive player is not the solution.

anyone else's balls tingling?

Ya I like that line a lot although Nash and Buch looked good with Hayes. I would keep Zib and Buch together, Hayes and Miller together.

#NYR goaltender Henrik Lundqvist is breaking in some fresh equipment at today's practice.

How? By trying to actually stop pucks?
Figured I'd get that out of the way for us before a troll comes here and does it

It's not a hate hard on for him. I think his spot could be used to fill a role were missing. A physical guy who can fight and provide a spark when needed. Look how we played after some similar aquisitions. Avery, Prust, Carcillo etc

would be nice, but for every good gritty 4th liner we acquire, there's 2 or 3 that absolutely (frank)ing suck.

Its game 7 of the ECF and we have a 3-2 lead over Washington in the 3rd period and the Caps have a PP to tie the game.

Would you rather have Burrows or Fast as an option in the lineup?

I see your point, bad example. I'm big on the age thing also although in this case I go Burrows and look for another Fast in the offsets on from the 998 to choose from.

Way off topic but the only thing better than the cowboys losing last night would be bill and Hillary Clinton going to jail where they belong.

More so he doesn't get scored on when he's on the ice.

Watch Derek Stepan's Game 7 goal that series, and look who won that puck back to the point on the faceoff right before Stepan's game winner.

Faceoff result in a draw. Fast pokes it to Yandle, Yandle moves it to Girardi. We all know the rest.

Speaking of faceoffs, is Hayes much better this year on the dot or does it just seam that way?

He is. And Zib is our best face off guy which should help when he's back. I'm excited to see this team healthy again. Jimbo mentioned it but Staal is missed when he's not in the lineup. I fully believe hank will get it together. Anyone think someone goes after Eakin tomorrow night?

If it is anybody it would be Kreider or Klein. Doubt they will unless it was a blowout either way.

He's better than he was last year, but still under what you'd call average.
