He fell down on the opening face off. Now, just a 1-2 shifts ago, he was heading up ice, all alone, puck on stick, and just whiffed/lost the puck and had to circle back. May be the ice, but. . .

Worried about what it might be, because he seems to be trying.

I expected a comfortable Wild win, so blowing an early lead and losing a close one was surprising.

But a loss is still a loss.

Doubt the Hawks sniff 1st again this season. Wild are clearly a better club.

And the worst part...

...the Hawks are just dull to watch.

Dubnyk is just that much better than Crawford.

Special teams were 0% tonight. Not going to win games with a PK and PP like that. Pathetic.

I have no problems with CC, or Darling...the problems are elsewhere.

gonna be a veeeerrrry long final 2.5 months to this season...looks like a repeat of last year...

this was a important game to play well and win; they played ok but expect the blues to catch'em now...

Interesting to see Kempsey's TOI was 4th highest among the seven defensemen tonight. Campbell last. Maybe Soupy is visiting Q's doghouse.

Crawford was really good until his surgery.

He's been very ordinary since - 4 wins 5 losses losses, 27 GA in 9 games - .906 save %.

This team can't score enough to overcome that kind of goaltending.

Milbury and Jones said it - except for Kane, Hawks had nothing.

they are definately better ...they have matured...but they also still have beaudreu and a long history of fading...they will have their losing streaks...

that 1st pk required a kill and tehy didn't get it...ya kinda felt that the game turned at that point...which wierd to say that

I'm looking forward to seeing the Hawks get a high draft pick this summer. It will be good to see who Stan has to sacrifice to unload Seabrook's horrid contract in a couple years.

I'm not suggesting the Wild are locks for rings, just saying they are a better/deeper club than the Hawks.

Staal was a fantastic signing. If the Wild stay healthy they'll be a tough out.

Dubnyk was the difference tonight. Crawford should not have gotten beat short side by Stewart.

Better effort but this team is a shadow of its former cup winning years.
