Good point on CSN that there was no timeout called at any point during this game. That I do not understand. - feelingkettle
I can't stand this guy. It's his second season and he's using the players like he just met them. |

Kind of amazing how much this team has bad luck. Del Zotto flubs, Provy flubs, whatever else...this is not stuff you see frequently from a team with any type of confidence. |

Don't even know where to begin. They give up the 2nd goal and completely fall apart. This team lacks heart, guts and balls. JFC Oshie blatantly runs AMac at the end of the period and they just stand there with thumbs up their asses. By the 3rd, the Caps are out there having a ball and our boys are just gliding around like they don't give a (frank).
Sorry Hexy, but these pathetic efforts are simply inexcusable. Make a trade, waive someone, call someone up, fire the coach; hell, send Brown into the locker room to beat someone's ass, BUT DO SOMETHING!!!
This is a (frank)ing disgrace. |

Now 28s been called out by the GM & on national television. It's not just us seeing the lack of effort. - mayorofangrytown

Give him players to play with that can actually create offense. He's been doing it by himself for years now and its caught up to him. The Flyers need another offensive game breaker, and they have a wealth of D prospects to do something about it. If I'm Hextall I'm trading Sanheim, Laughton and a 1st for Duchene yesterday. Make a move do something to shake it up or if not at least call up some of the young guys who have the speed that is needed to win in this NHL. Leier is such a fast skater and would help this team a lot in that department if he stayed up but instead the coach insists on playing Vandevelde and Weiss guys who can't skate and obviously aren't helping the team defensively like they are apparently supposed to be doing. Give some of the younger guys a chance the vets are doing nothing to impress me at all. - FreshFlyer
I don't know man. Star players should be able to elevate the level of play of others. How many people on here thought Ghost should have won the Calder because Panarin was luck to be playing with Kane?
There is merit to saying Raffl, and for a short time Read, weighing G down. But you can definitely make an argument Clode should be able to help make them contribute more. |

College coach is in over his head. This is on Hexy, he should have brought in an assistant with NHL head coaching experience. Time for a change. |

Omfg so I said I'll skip the third to run errands. Check my phone and in the space of 5 mins it goes from 1 to 5 nothing. What a dumpster fire this team is. |

You know what they used to say about Giroux? He makes everyone on his line better. Funny how that works. |

I was one of them, I thought for sure they were gonna bring in someone like Terry Murray to be his top assistant. Instead we get Murphy and the special teams twins. |

I understand the frustration, but I just think Hakstol is in scramble /desperation mode. He's probably over thinking things but trying to find something, anything that will work |

His personnel and in-game coaching isn't exactly status quo either. |

And another thing, Streit looks cooked out there. The recent injuries have robbed him of another step and he just can't keep up. He needs to sit. |

On some positive news (im trying to find anything), Oskar Lindblom is in the top 5 in scoring in the SHL, as a 20 year old and Travis Sanheim scored twice and has 18 points in 36 games for the Phantoms. |

Exactly, and he would really benefit from an experienced NHL head coach on the staff to turn to for some advice. Instead he has the 3 stooges. |

I'm not saying trade him. In fact I don't actually think he's trade-able unless thrown into a monster mega-trade. His contract for his production and ES skating is not good and assuming he's going to continue his downward trajectory of his career, it's going to be really bad very soon. I think the Flyers are going to be stuck with him. |

Can't keep changing coaches....maybe it's time for Hextall to mix it up a little and get some new bodies in here. Then if it continues look at coaching. |

Giroux has been elevating the play of other players for years. Do any of you really think Schenn or Simmonds are even close to 30 goal players without Giroux setting up basically all or most of their goals on the pp. What I am saying with my last post is obviously G isn't as dynamic as he once was but he can still make plays and put up points he just needs someone else who can drive offense on this team. Other teams know if you shut down Giroux and Voracek this team simply doesn't score goals. In a hypothetical world adding another game breaker type player does wonders for this team offensively because now other teams don't just have to worry about Giroux and Voracek being the only ones who can create offense for this team. Teams then have to pick their match ups wisely and this can open up more players to create more offense. Simmonds, Schenn, Couturier they're all decent players but they don't drive offense and they don't make big time plays you can rely on them to finish plays maybe but they need to be set up is what I'm saying. This team desperately needs another player who can create offense. |
