Well to be fair right now the Sens are a tiebreaker out of a playoff spot.
The playoff spot that the Leafs happen to inhabit
P.S. Erik Karlsson is a wiener. - TheMussel
Nice wrister though...thank goodness for the McPost. |

The Sens are on pace ahead of the Bruins anyway.
The very realistic potential of a Battle of Ontario first round...so tasty... |

I saw the faceoff being lost, took my eye off the game for a second, then looked up to see Karlsson looking like somebody had broken into his house on Christmas day and pissed on his kids |

so, first win this year for a game I was at and 2 things stood out to me, when the Mathews line is out the othe team doesn't get much real estate and the Goat is not slow at all. |

Pretty sure Mathews shot it forward then chased it down, although I was behind the Leaf net so I could be wrong. |

Jack Todd, Montreal Gazette, May 3 2016:
" Silly trade talk, part 12,456: As for the folks who think it’s a good idea to swap P.K. Subban to the Leafs for the chance to draft Matthews — get real. I wrote a few weeks ago that at times this season Subban seemed like a separate planet from the Canadiens organization, but that doesn’t mean you give away one of the league’s handful of premier defencemen for a draft pick that may or may not pan out.
There is simply no way you trade Subban for Toronto’s top pick, or for Edmonton’s No. 4 pick, not even if the Oilers throw in a surplus elite forward or two. Subban dominates 30 minutes a game. There are no more than five or six defencemen in the league like him, while there are a couple of dozen forwards who will likely grade above Matthews for years to come."

Leafs have too many GMs. No one else knows who's in charge. This won't end end. Lou is a dinosaur and doesn't give bonuses. Will Babcock leave after this season?

no no no...
series has to go to at least six games... with the Senators goalie absolutely crapping the bed to close the series out...
unfortunately crusty the clown wouldn't be around to cry his way to the dressing room thereafter...
I kinda felt sorry for Phaneuf last night... he actually played pretty well (my opinion) and must be looking across the ice at the kids that have been injected into the lineup and just be shaking his head. |

it has been going on for years. |
