So watching coaches corner and Cherry is going on about guys getting out of the way so the goalie can see. The problem I have with this is that in the first clip, it looked like the guy tried to block, but expected a low shot and it was sent high. The one showing the guys "getting out of the way", it looked like a player desperately trying to avoid having to block rather than actually helping his goalie.
How are players supposed to know when they will effectively stop a shot and should actually block, and when they should just jump out of the way without looking like a coward that won't block? |
