Giroux 10 games without a goal that's horrific from what some here call the best player in the world

This reads like a Trump tweet

A Top player and one of the best players in the world are not anywhere close to the same thing...

That's not the coach's fault either.

I don't believe Hak preaches to lazily backcheck, or to drift out of position, or to not cover their assignments. It's up to the players to execute. If your players are not willing or able to bare down and play a complete game, night in and night out, what options are Hak left with?

If it's a systemic issue, that's a completely different discussion.

I agree for the most part, but it is the coaches job to get it straightened out. They have a bye week where they should get plenty of practice time. The coverage and puck management issues have got to be straightened out.

I'm not blaming the coach per se, but you have limited options when it comes to moving players. When teams play the way the Flyers are right now, 9 times out of 10 it's the coach that takes the fall.

When almost every single draft source, expert, hockey pundit, writer , whatever takes your pick praises the high end defensive prospect pool the FLyers have their has to be a reason.

I am 100% with on sitting Ghost..

I'm aware of that. Lets hope they are right. But until we see them produce at the NHL level it's still a relative unknown.

This may be cliched but the Flyers were not a contender when they won 10 in a row. They're playing poorly right now, but they're not this bad overall. They're somewhere in between. Right now as a team, they're just a mess.

True.

Unless you have a GM who realizes he acquired a team that needs a talent facelift and is patient in his approach to getting it in place.

An example of a top player but not one of the best in the world would be Joe Pavelski, Jake, Atkinson.

An example of a top player who is one of the best in the world would be McDavid, Crosby, Malkin.
