If Hextall thinks things are going bad with Hak, then he'll get rid of him in a reasonable way. I don't think there's a chance he's going to trade a core player at this point for a glimmer of home in a pile of poop. That's how we got JVR for Luke Schenn.

I like our top six but one could argue that we need more from those guys or an upgrade but definitely no more steps back.

You can change line after line after line. If you don't have the talent, it may make a difference for short periods of time, but in end, the result is usually the same.

Talent has nothing to do with guys not moving their feet or hustling on the back check. I can excuse a lack of talent, but not giving it their all is inexcusable

Konecny one of the few guys who creates offensive pressure that results in turnovers. Coach likes guys who sit back and and play defensively. Who do you want on ice when down 2 goals.

4. High percentage of line shuffling, especially in game.
5. Sitting certain players on the bench for entire periods for mistakes everyone else makes.

Let's also keep in mind Hakstol was essentially a surprise hire to the NHL. One of only a few coaches to graduate from NCAA to the NHL. So a young coach with zero NHL experience with the full weight of the Flyers front office behind him.

I feel like there are a lot of players that aren't put into the best possible positions to be effective and contribute. The constant juggling and shortening of the bench in games doesn't help either.
