He brought Ghost up because of an injury. He played so well that they kept him up. Even when playing well, Hextall said he hated having him up here. Again, Hextall is in for the long term instead of reactionary, "we suck, call everyone up" quick fixes that a lot of Flyers fans love.

Sadly, we just have to wait out the AMac era.

I actually agree with you. Hexy has made it pretty clear that he isn't a fan of calling up the rookies just to send them back down. You either make the team or your don't.

Ghost's positioning has been atrocious without the puck. I'm not even talking about his turnovers. His pinches have been at terrible times.

The numbers tell a bit of a different story. I don't think MJL is off-base when he says the forwards need to be better defensively as well.
