There is no such thing as PP QB in the NHL anymore, the day of guts like Gonchar running the PP from the point are long past. I wouldn't deny that pass was awesome and it's an area that Letang has struggled but 1 pass doesn't define a players overall ability.

PP goal would be nice, or have we receded back into the PP black hole ?

they are perfect for crosby other than the ability to actually finish. every shift is a prime chance thats usually flubbed.

no shot. i know we female dog about him a lot as a fan base, because he is frustrating at times, but letang makes it all go at even strength.

There's a lot not working. Sheary and Rust are butchering a lot of plays. My biggest complaint is team defense. Really sloppy. Probably the worst I've seen under Sullivan. Yes they're missing Letang and Dumo, but so many bad turnovers and pinches. Sullivan really needs to get them straightened out.

Not a very cohesive or talented defense that can support an attack first mentality.

yeah if youre tracking stats thats a fair assumption to make. because a lot of the prime chances dont even result in shots on goal.

rust and sheary just are what they are. hard to have two gusy that cnat finish on the same line. but like i said, thats what bargain prices get you. they are still bargains at their salaries. and crosby works so well with two speedy puck hounds. they just cant score for him.
