Ses, hey I know you finally realize the team is much worse without them so go ahead and have your fun.
- nyisles7

Much worse is pushing things. I was not that impressed with this team with KO and Frans. To be fair, I will not be truly impressed with the Isles until they get a new GM and coach.

Not bad enough as Cappy and Garth are still here.

I honestly feel Isles went as far as they were going to go with KO and Frans. They needed to change the mix if the GM and coach were not replaced. Garth just picked the wrong new players to bring in.

Listen Ses, no one will disagree that Zippy and Garf Bag need to go but without KO, Frans and MM yes even MM this team isn't close to getting the results with them. This GM totally plucked up by changing the core of this team. Number/results don't lie.

That said regardless the damage was done and Garf and Zippy need to go asap!

I was just not locking up both KO and Frans long term for just being regular season players. They needed to show they could make big plays in the playoffs and push this team forward and they did not do that. Isles needed better core players and Hall should have been one of them.

Is it possible to give up 7 goals and play well?

16 bottom line this GM and coach need to go. I don't think anyone who is a fan of this team can argue that. Unfortunately for me it's about 5 years over due, if indeed they change these two this off season.
- nyisles7

Amen. I've been calling for Garth's head as long. I met him once and wasn't impressed. He hasn't done anything to change that opinion.

7-4 now.
Well, at least Tavares' line got going.
Why didn't Greiss get the night off? 70-80 shots in 2 nights?
Brilliant.

Best thing for their careers getting away from the circus known as the Islanders, both All Stars

Have not watched most of the game, but I would be very surprised if Greiss gave up a couple of bad goals.

Garf Bag and Zippy need to go 16.

Last night obviously was the energy play of the Cats vs the play of the Islanders as tonight they are back to a possession less team being out cahanced and out shot and the d zone play and neutral zone play has been abysmal.
If Carappy doesn't get canned tonight then he isn't until the off season but just the inconsistency of this team is a reflection of the lack of guidance from the staff.

I cannot watch the game, but I checked the score. Playing Greiss on back-to-back nights smacks of desperation. It's as if Cappy can't figure out any way to win the game other than to ask Greiss to stand on his head.

I'm sure they are happier away from Garth and Cappy. I still want a couple of forwards like Tampa has that can make a big play in a big spot. Hopefully Barzal and Beau can help next year.

Third game in four nights and they play again Monday. Makes no sense at all playing Greiss tonight even though this game is certainly not on him.

JS if it weren't for Greiss it would have been 10 - 4.

Berube would have been shell shocked if he played this one.

The team from last night to tonight is like a 180 degree turn. Crappy would be canned tonight without question if it were up to me, seasons over can this ass let the kids play and go for the high draft choice and apologies to JT for phucking up the team this summer.

More proof that Cappy cannot manage his roster or is that shadow coach Garth?

My point was simply that starting goalies need a little rest, and back-up goalies need to see a little action. What better time to play your back-up than when you have games on consecutive nights?

And I agree it was a sign of desperation my friend.
I didnt want to pose a negative attitude towards your post. I was just saying if it wasn't for Greiss it would have been 10 goals plus.

I was to early giving this team credit last night 44.

I should have known it was more the Cats being a pathetic team vs The Islanders being better, but their possession numbers and attempts were good but tonight we are back to being shat.

Ward is not the goalie he once was eh?

See, you praised them and they felt there work was done.

How did your team do tonight?

Well I had to give them credit as I'm a possession and shot attempt vs shot against guy. That said last night it was good all aroun, however obviously it was a burp of goodness in a buffet of farts season, if that makes sense.
This season s over can this bumhole of a coach play the kids and let's move and concentrate on next year. Garf Bag needs to clean out his locker as well.

Meanwhile, I got to watch the Florida Panthers defeat the hottest team in the NHL, the Columbus Blue Jackets. Rowe played Reimer in goal. What a novel concept, eh Cappy? Rest your goalies on consecutive nights? Not too tough a concept....

Over easy. I like my eggs the same way I like my women.
