Butch finally brought up my main gripe about the pp... the d are on the wrong sides for the one timer. It's absolutely fvcking stupid. - Isles_since_6
It has been going on for 6 years now. Funny to see Boychuk always trying to get to the other side for a one timer that's if he's even out there. Total, (frank)ing, clown show. |

So glad Cappy waited so long to call the team out last game. Maybe it would have helped if he did it sooner?
Leddy seems to look really good with Pelech and the defense has not fell apart without Hamonic. Guess they could have traded him for a wing after all. |

You're forgetting that "mutiny" that would have happened had Hamonic been traded. - Mancalledsting
Shame on me for forgetting. |

You go to the box for 2 minutes and you feel shame. 2 minutes without your pin. |

Agree 6.
Many teams start out on a face off that way in case the draw is lost however a switch during the PP, which for most teams is typically very easily done with a couple passes and shifts. However it just seems the Islanders can't or don't do this which makes absolutely no sense.
Again the Islanders coaches and management dont do what is considered normal as far as coaching and or running a team |

Because zippy thinks he's the smartest one in the room. I could never wrap my head around how they wouldn't play the d on their off point for the one timer after the draw. Zippy will change line combos, sit one of 3 players or swap centers and wings. But God forbid the PP should get changed up. Absolute lunacy. |

No, man. That's the sad part. - Isleshockeyman
Last nights game was probably the Islanders best of the season as far as attempts for vs against and total possession. That said it was against Florida so take that for what it's worth.
Let's see if they can out possess and out attempt the Canes tonight and find some consistency.
We should also see Berube in the net tonight.

You earned it, but you go free now.
Man, what a game last night. Not the Isles, don't care. Another big win. Perlini had a hat trick on Tuesday, McBain almost had one last night. Hit the cross bar in a third goal attempt. Good, sound game.
I did catch the highlights when I got home. Looked like they played fairly well. Nice hatty by JT. I guess Chimera borrowed Ladd's stick.
Hard to tell from just highlights, how'd they play? I know the PP sucked. |

Well, once again I won't see the game. Another night watching a team that's playing for first place.
Hope Berube plays well. He needs some trade value. |

They looked better last night than the entire playoff series and that is without KO and Frans. |

I actually liked that Strome dropped the mitts. Showed some balls. He might want to ask Boulton for some pointers, but good for him. |

Sad thing is he won that fight too. Now read this quote wtf
“He understands he’s not going to play every game, but we felt like we needed a boost,” Capuano said of Beauvillier, who has played 27 of the team’s 40 games. “With three games in basically 2 ½ days, I think a few guys are going to get a chance.”
So you need a boost and bring him in otherwise he sits what a moron |

Never. 7 is a good guy. Just strange the Isles still have some talent and can play when Cappy acts like a coach and calls the team out. |

Cappy and Garth are too stupid for words. I'm sure Cappy needs Garth permission to play Beau. |
