HA! That's funny. I had a teammate once, decades ago, get a gross misconduct. He didn't like whatever the ref called so he started skating around and coughing and forced himself to puke on the ice.

Now that's a new one
- Upstate_isles

You know me Upstate. I like being original. I had Pavelec (Manitoba Moose goalie) shaking his head on Tuesday. Also had the people laughing. After an evening of taunting him I yelled at him 'Hoover called and wants to know what your secret to sucking is.' He shook his head, turned toward center ice and dropped his head like he was thinking when will this game end. Or when will this bumhole shut up. He looked at me several times during the game. Even a couple other fans turned to me and said as they laughed "he's looking at you, dude".
Good times. We have Texas tonight and tomorrow.

Meh, it's a façade with him. I'm at a point with this team/organization that I'm apathetic. Nothing surprises me anymore. It's just so frustrating to watch this moron act like he knows what he's doing. I think anyone anywhere in the world, no matter what the business, would make changes if their business was not being successful. Look at how they're operating, their strategies, their staff, whatever it is. I know I would. The first person I would look at is me. How can I change this. Not this ass clown. No accountability, no responsibility, nothing. (frank)ing moron(Crappy, not you)
The biggest reason he's showing emotion is that his one system isn't working anymore and he can't figure out anything else to do . He's an idiot.

I just don't get the stubborness. This is almost the same roster as last year with Frans being the biggest loss. I agree that he has tunnel vision with his strategies, but he has employed a different scheme that was successful and that was just a few years ago. He just won't admit the current one isn't working.

I knew if we won a playoff round, Cappy would be safe but i was so desperate for that elation that i didnt care. I also knew the identity changed and it would take a bit to get going this year, but this is ridiculous.

We also know the owners won't want to make any changes until offseason, so even though we could've gotten a new coach and turned this around already, we are now trapped in limbo watching an entire season that is just a complete waste of time and severely damaging the career of Strome.

That being said, we were rolling prior to being forced to lose our momentum with that forced 5 day break, then we got another 3 days off. For all the crap that's happened this year, that might be the nail in the coffin. I am not a fan of that week off and considering how awful guys like Tavares and Patrice Bergeron have been this year, i hope they never do a tournament like that that in September ever again.

I don't think it's stubbornness. I truly think it's stupidity. Call it lack of knowledge if you prefer. He has one system and tries to make the players he has play that system. Not design a system that plays to the strengths of his players. He also isn't smart enough to realize that while he had some success the last couple years, teams start to pay attention. They start watching video and game planning. All of that system that was working is getting shutdown. He's not smart enough to realize that and make adjustments. With Snow, it's simply ego that prevents him from doing what's in the best interest of the team.

He's just not qualified to be an NHL head coach. It takes more than just talking about a heavy game and activating and puck luck to be a head coach.

The NY Islanders. The only sports franchise in professional sports that'd let this (frank)ing gong show continue.

At least the Browns have fired coaches and GM's and tried bringing people in, making trades and signing free agents. They've tried to improve, unsuccessfully as it's been.

Again, they've made changes to try to improve and they wouldn't have stood pat for 3 seasons of going 1-15 each. They would've canned the coach or did something. This is a freaking circus.

I have a question. Since Beau has been up since the start of the season and played 26 games, is he eligible for the AHL? Is there an amount of games limit to hit to be eligible or is it simply age?

It's age. Pretty sure next year is the first year he's AHL eligible.

Also, does anyone know if it's 40 games on the NHL roster that counts as one year closer to UFA, or is it 40 games that he actually plays in?

I figured it out. Ledecky is going to allow this team to get so bad that nobody will care when he moves it. Diabolical.
