Garth and Cappy do not get or care how dumb they look. It's was so important to hold onto Berube and keep the 3 goalies they could not trust Berube to play in a back to back game. Garth thinks the players would revolt if he traded Hamonic. Yes maybe if he traded Hamonic for a draft pick. The players would be thrilled if he got Hall for him. Garth and Cappy really need to watch that Seinfeld episode and do the opposite. - ses111
Snow's ego at work. "(frank) off fans. I'll do what I want and there's nothing you can do about it".
I'm sure there would've been some guys that got bummed about Hammer getting traded. They get paid a tidy sum to play this game. They need to earn their pay every night whether they agree with managements decisions or not. At the end of the day, it's still a business. Guys move on, they get traded, they retire. No roster is the same every year. Whether it's a full blown rebuild or just one new guy coming in the rosters change annually. |

Arthur Staple @StapeNewsday
Cap: Ladd, Clutterbuck out due to minor injuries. Gionta, Prince in. Boychuk back in, Mayfield out. Greiss in goal. #Isles
Greiss again? Oh I forgot Garth and Cappy think they are in a playoff race. |

Please no more JT playing for the Worlds or Olympics. Just for the Isles please. I want the Isles to get a wing for JT that can finish and also be somewhat responsible on d. He does not have to be a 40 goal scorer type. - ses111
I want a 40 goal scorer on JT's wing. |

Garth and Cappy are setting up Greiss for the blame. |

Snow is showcasing him for the trade deadline. Nothing like trading a tired, beat up goalie for a 5th rounder. Snow so smaht. Snow and Crappy could both slide under a gas truck and die and not a tear would be shed. (frank)ing morons. Both of them. |

Just when you think they cannot frank things up even more. Greiss will leave and Berube will be a UFA and Halak will need to be the #1 again next year. |

Just another draft that Snow knew more than the rest of the leagues GM didn't.
Rob Schremp with problems - nyisles7
Exactly.......29 other teams had to be wrong. Its Kabanov all over again. What a joke this has become. I love all the fans that talk about Ho Sang like he's the next legit talent. He's a joke.........his numbers this year tell the story. How many more "Rob Schremps" do we need to see ??? |

Yet again, another example of snows ego. Giving us the middle finger adding he'll do what he wants. He'd rather not look like he made a mistake versus doing what's in the best interest of the team. (frank)ing moron. - Isleshockeyman
I dont even think its ego.......the guy simply doesn't know what he's doing. I dont even see how he himself can make an argument otherwise after this failed season. |

I said this before, but the isles should try and snag Mark Messier to be President of this team. Like Yzerman, Messier was a similar Captain......both winners. The fact that he got snubbed by the Rangers, maybe he comes to the isles. As president, there's no doubt he could build a proper staff. |

Lets hope he stays there so as not to get ruined by this staff. Its become scary how bad this situation is.
This is another reaason why you can't flat out say a prospect is untouchable. Its two seasons now that Pulock has had injuries. To me, you have a chance to bring in established NHL talent for a prospect you gotta seriously look at it. |

hahahahahahahahahahahahah touche. well played
I just think its time to bring in a winner. i dont want the likes of Lafontaine, or some former Islander who's out of touch. Yzerman was the closest thing to Messier and he's killing it over there in Tampa. |

This from isles point blank
Yes, it's been frustrating for fans as well, as Pulock was fully expected to remain with the big club for the duration of the 2016-17 season and earn valuable minutes toward his development. If Pulock cannot get over the injuries which have dogged him the past two seasons and slowed that ascension to a crawl, it might be time to start talking up Devon Toews as the Islanders' most prized defensive prospect.
Towes made the all star game Dan said he's the team mvp I've seen him once (not much can be made from one time) but he looked very good mobile good first pass played in all situations |

You have to remember that a narcissist never feels that they have made a mistake, but everyone else has. It's all about him. In his mind, he gave crappy the players to succeed. So the next logical thought would be for him to blame crappy. Here's the twist. Since he hired crappy, it's not his fault either. It MUST be the players aren't understanding the system or they're not putting in enough effort. Ok, so then logically a player or two needs to be traded. Not so fast. He's drafted, traded for or signed the players on this team. In his mind, logically, the effort is there but the luck isn't. KO, Frans and MM walked on their own. Why, you ask? Because snow and his ego thought there was no way he wasn't getting Stamkos. Therefore KO could walk. Frans was a sure re-sign, so no point in working to re-sign him quickly. MM was offered a contract that was refused. Snow was then able to say that MM denied it. He did what he could do. He's a walking cluster (frank) that is the ultimate detriment to this team. - Isleshockeyman
Why are you convinced Snow is a narcissist? All of his moves can be explained by him simply being a bad GM. It could be that he isn't that smart. Maybe he made bad personnel decisions for whatever reason and surrounded himself with people that aren't suited to their jobs. Maybe he let's his feelings get in the way of doing the right thing for the organization. There could be a million reasons to explain it.

Funny......Mayfield for all the chirping on here, has 4 pts in 4 games played. He's got one less goal than DeHaan who's played 41 games vs Mayfields 4. Yet, Mayfield sits???? - kindlyrick
How do you not get how this works yet? If you produce, you sit in the press box. |

Funny, when the isles drafted Reinhardt he was the top dog, and Pulock was just a hard shot. Then we actually saw that Reinhardt couldnt skate, and then Pulock was the next big thing.......now he cant even crack the lineup. So now its Toews? Give me a break.........its 10 years in, and the isles have yet to draft a top end dmen (minus maybe Hamonic). |
