How apropos. I bet Bert, Zippy, ant the rest of the clowns get out of the car as the final act.

Hope there is room for Dunham, Weight, Cronin and anyone else Garth and Wang hired.

That all sounds nice, but there wasn't cap room to sign all 3, let alone "add to it". You can certainly blame Snow for that, and I wouldn't disagree. You can also say he should have finagled some team into trading for one of the overpaid players.......Bailey, Kuli, Grabo, Halak, whomever. Easier said than done.

The team sucks. The buck stops with Snow. I eagerly await a PoHO to be hired and assume office. Clearly, Snow is in over his head. He totally screwed up, losing Nielsen. But no one predicted how bad Ladd was going to be. We can only hope that a better coach will get more out of him.

- JohnScammo

All fair points but as the GM though, you need to know what you have in money to sign the pieces you want etc.
Again competent GMs do it, and that's the problem at the end of the day with this team. Snow must go!

It's not worth it if the incoming GM can't find the right pieces to complete the puzzle. Opportunities were lost that may not be replaceable. Garth should have been let go years ago or after the playoffs, where we limped our way to the 2nd round on 3 OT wins out of 4. Not exactly a dominating performance. Were it not for Alan Quine's OT winner....

Don't forget about the 2 or 3 challenges that overturned the goals scored on the isles.

The plan should have been trading Hamonic for Hall and then maybe bringing back Frans. As tough as this season has been, it will be all worth it if Garth and Cappy are gone. It's just hard to think the Isles were ever winning a Cup with Garth and Cappy in comtrol with or without KO and Frans and other pieces.

It always comes down to one common denominator that we all agree on no matter what issue we are debating or discussing. Snow must go!
If he and Zippy are still here next year I will refuse to watch the team.

No problem. However, that's 2 minutes for delay of game.

I recorded the game last night and watched it more or less in fast forward this morning. Like you all said there was no reason to start Greiss. What was the point of three goalies if they weren't going to let Berube play?

Even if L&M are going to make a change in the off season there is no reason to keep these guys around anymore. I would have more respect for them if they canned them all and appointed a sack of hammers as the new GM. I have more faith in the sack of hammers than I do in Snow.

On a positive note the Cowgirls lost in a heart-breaker! I can't decide which team I hate more, the rags of the cowgirls.

Just another draft that Snow knew more than the rest of the leagues GM didn't.

The great logic of Cappy and Garth continue. It was so important to hold onto Berube you do not even play him in a back to back game. Should be no need to wait for the offseason as it's already the offseason. Would love to know the people still employed that L & M want to talk to about the president job.

Finally a great playoff game. That Cindy Crosby can even kick FG's. That guy never misses in the playoffs. I give Dallas credit for fightin back and they have some offense. They need big time help on D. Same goes for the Packers and Atlanta. They are pretty much all offense.

Yet again, another example of snows ego. Giving us the middle finger adding he'll do what he wants. He'd rather not look like he made a mistake versus doing what's in the best interest of the team. (frank)ing moron.

One playoff win in 10 years as GM and letting Cappy coach for 7 years. Garth has some Balls having an ego at all.

You have to remember that a narcissist never feels that they have made a mistake, but everyone else has. It's all about him. In his mind, he gave crappy the players to succeed. So the next logical thought would be for him to blame crappy. Here's the twist. Since he hired crappy, it's not his fault either. It MUST be the players aren't understanding the system or they're not putting in enough effort. Ok, so then logically a player or two needs to be traded. Not so fast. He's drafted, traded for or signed the players on this team. In his mind, logically, the effort is there but the luck isn't. KO, Frans and MM walked on their own. Why, you ask? Because snow and his ego thought there was no way he wasn't getting Stamkos. Therefore KO could walk. Frans was a sure re-sign, so no point in working to re-sign him quickly. MM was offered a contract that was refused. Snow was then able to say that MM denied it. He did what he could do. He's a walking cluster (frank) that is the ultimate detriment to this team.

Garth and Cappy do not get or care how dumb they look. It's was so important to hold onto Berube and keep the 3 goalies they could not trust Berube to play in a back to back game. Garth thinks the players would revolt if he traded Hamonic. Yes maybe if he traded Hamonic for a draft pick. The players would be thrilled if he got Hall for him. Garth and Cappy really need to watch that Seinfeld episode and do the opposite.

As good an offensive player that Hall is, I'm sure the OIlers defense improved without him. I still would have made the trade and would have loved having Hall on JT's wing, but watching those two in the D end would have been really tough.

Generally Hall's defensive play takes more flak that it deserves. My biggest complaint against him is he constantly tries to do everything himself. Much like JT in some situations.

Also its good to see JT starting to play like an All Star.

Probably very well. Since neither are likely to be in the playoffs perhaps we'll see them play together at Worlds?

Please no more JT playing for the Worlds or Olympics. Just for the Isles please. I want the Isles to get a wing for JT that can finish and also be somewhat responsible on d. He does not have to be a 40 goal scorer type.
