If given the option, I'm putting ROR in that spot instead of Jack. Let that line deal with the defensive responsibilities like they had been all season. That line is probably having an identity crisis right now. Two checking line players with an upper echelon scoring center...

I don't think any of them know what the hell they're actually supposed to be doing out there.

I didn't have a problem with Foligno on Eichel's one wing, but they for sure need to make sure that there's a higher level skill guy on the other side then. No knock on Gio, because I think he's served his role pretty well, but he's not the answer on the other side. At all...

In some ways, I agree. But the issue with this team right now isn't really the in the forward ranks, it's the defense that needs major work.

If they don't do something to address that, we have some serious issues.

Oh yeah, I totally agree. I think people want to make cosmetic moves like cutting 44, 6, 77 and 26, but I think it's time to cut deeper and shake this up. 4, 12, 28 too. We'll see what Ennis does now, but if he isn't scoring at a. 6 or higher I would try to move on there too.

The fat on the team is obvious, but the borderline guys are a a problem too

28 seems to have found a bit of a groove the last 2 weeks or so. He's been much more noticeable out there. Not sure what the difference is, but if he can keep that up, they should keep him around.
