Maybe he will get a playoff coach at the all-star game. Systems!!

Megna looked like sh*t last night getting 2 assists. Useless!

and MAYBE at the all star break you will be more than a low life troll who picks fights daily too. Wouldnt that be nice. What an incredible hypocrite you are, asking some to leave you alone and picking fights daily with others. There's a special place in hell for you

PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Flyers must have been laughing.

They took eight penalties, offered the Vancouver Canucks 14:28 of power-play time, looked vulnerable defensively and seemed at times to be doing everything they could to lose a National Hockey League game.

And still they were denied this by the Canucks, who couldn’t hold a third-period lead, were beaten on special teams despite an 8-4 advantage in power plays, and lost 5-4 when Claude Giroux beat Vancouver goalie Ryan Miller for the only goal of a shootout.

If the Canucks can’t win a road game when they score four times and spend nearly one-quarter of it with more players on the ice than the opposition, when can they win a road game? Well, almost never because Thursday’s loss left Vancouver stuck at five wins in 21 road games this season.

Their inability to seize two points even when the opposition is begging the Canucks to take them is a reckless and costly fault.

deployment, strategy and player selection played a role in that.

So did a complete lack of talent , heart , and a will to win. Can't play scared , can't play not to lose

So are you upset or happy? You talk about lack of skill and better draft picks and seem to moan because this really heavily talent laden team lost because they are crappy and have no skill and talent..

Why is anyone shocked? We have a an AHL bottom 6 (for the most part) where their TOI matches the top 6...we have a final pairing D that wouldn't make the top 6 on the top 16 clubs...and we have Miller who at times looks brilliant but really is just the next version of Loowingo...plus a highly touted backup who has been given every opportunity to seize the no 1 job and hasn't...we aren't moving picks/prospects for playoff assets so we get what we got...what is the big surprise?

I'm definitely ok with it, that was imac's article on the current Canucks. The young guys are progressing while the older guys are fading, it's a transition that takes time...but we're on our way.

I guess we should be amazed the Canucks can even talk about a playoff hunt without breaking out in laughter after a 9 game losing streak, among the lowest road and regulation wins in the league.

Maybe the recent choices are part of a WD plan to show case his development of players like Megna so JB can still make a deal of others at TDL. Prove that Sedins should retire. State he should be kept on because he's stuck playing young D Tree and Stecher that belong in the AHL. Yeah it's genius

Canucks have never paid attention to the bottom 6 for years and years. I was hoping they were going to get Martin this year but that ship has sailed.

Well put. This is why I sometimes think Aquaman is right about the fans not being able to handle a rebuild. The seasons are long and frustrations grow over every tiny little thing; nitpicking deployments, lineups, effort, etc. as if saying "we are trying to lose" will make it all ok
