Fine. If ever I was to propose a serious trade proposal, I would begin my sentence as such. Not only that but it would be what I would consider fair and also take into account cap ramifications. Since you brought it up, would you have, if sitting in the GM chair, accepted Hamonic for Hall straight up? Mind you, this was before the season started and Hamonics crappy season thus far.

Also note that we get our fair share of trade offers as well. JT for JVR, Hamonic++ for some scrub 3rd line center, etc.

You have no idea how much I would love to pound Snow's head into the sand. There's a lot of Isles fans that over value Hamonic. I think he's a bottom 6 D-man. A 3 or 4. He's not speedy and doesn't have a big shot. He's a relatively smart player that doesn't make a whole lot of stupid passes (last year anyway) and plays the body. He's a sound, steady defenseman

Because they're 2 of the best young players in the league. The faces of their respective franchises and soon to be the faces of the entire league. I don't like Toronto either, but you can't deny that Matthews is going to be a great player in this league. He's having a stellar rookie campaign.

I wouldn't have accepted that trade if I were the GM. I said before and I still think it's a fair trade. Hamonic for Eberle straight up. Makes more sense now too with both players struggling.
