yeah...It's like it's unacceptable for him to have a slump. - stinger67
i think with Price people (i mean not me, i'm too levelheaded and rational for it) automatically start wondering if it's the knee |

yeah, expected a loss, but not by that much. Seemed that everything they threw at the net had a chance of going in.

Heard on the radio that it is Michel Therrien's fault for both NOT pulling Price and FOR listening to Price telling him he wants to stay in to be accountable to his team. |

I think we saw enough of the Chris Terrys and Bobby Farnhams and Ryan Johnstons. Can't wait to see a healthy lineup again, if that ever happens. |

agree but it's likely going to take these guys a while to get their poop together, especially Galchenyuk coming off the knee injury. |

well i meant more Price's play in the last 5 weeks. i guess every goalie slumps but we've just been so spoiled by Price the last few years that it's shocking to see. - DoubleDown
It happens to every good players. That's why I never thought Price was an exceptional talent like Crosby or McDavid |

happens even to Crosby. people thought he might be finished as an elite player early last season. |

It's not his knee's fault when he keeps being beat shortside, it's bad positioning, he's going to work on it and come back strong.
That being said I don't the habs will ever win a cup with him. |

He was pissed at his coach, wanted him fired. Started playing again when he got what he wanted |

keeping this abysmal lineup in a playoff position makes you elite. Also, Crosby had slumps...especially early last season. Happens to everyone, except for goaltenders it's more obvious because there is no one else to take the load (code) |

It's worse for goalies because you can go goalless for 5 games and then score 3 goals in one and it doesn't statistically look like you've lost ground. 4 bad games can bring a goalies sv% down like 15 points. |

also when players are in slumps, they can come out it quickly, like we see with Pacioretty. i think it's tougher for goalies because they have more adjustments to make, more work to do. |
