Cody Franson, Michael Stone, Yanick Weber. - tomburton99
These look like moves for this year, I should have clarified. Let's say he signs somewhere else in the offseason, what's our plan B for the right side. |

I thought it as shrimp cocktail sauce, still disgusting though. |

No. But Shattenkirk is going to be this off-seasons prized possession, if he makes to UFA. Team that will inquire about Shattenkrik should he become a UFA would be the Blues, Leafs, Islanders, Rangers, Montreal, Edmonton, Colorado, Detriot and probably a few others. But those are teams that need a RH d-man. The Rangers better have a place B, C and D. |

I think there's a good chance we can get him in the summertime but we will need to dump some salary to accept his cap hit. A Nash trade or Girardi buyout are the logical routes to make that happen. |

I would guess he's going to want something in the 6.5-7 range with 5+ years. Is he worth that? We have a bunch of young guys in that time period that are going to be due for raises. Zib buch hayes kreider mcd miller etc. Hank will still be on the books as well. I guess trading Nash would be the logical thing to do in the offseason if we signed Shattenkirk and buying out Girardi, just have to be ready if a team comes in and offers him 8 million a year and we can't match it. |
