I thought it was great. Because it was so bad... not the one done by Penthouse - mdw7413
I remember I was like 11 years old, and my older high school sister rented that movie with her boyfriend, and I was hanging around watching. I don't think I knew what they were getting into, and I was a pleasantly surprised 11 year old.

I somehow accidentally watched that (had to be overnight) as a kid in the early 80s, the violence scarred me. Limbs hacked off & guys getting impaled. That was the 1st "horror" movie for me. Malcolm McDowell always played a whack job. - B2B76
The one that I remember was straight up porn. Not skinimax type porn, but straight up porn. Somehow I don't remember the violence.

When I was 6 or so my sisters took me to see Poltergeist in the theaters. It wasn't a good couple of weeks for me after that. My sisters were (frank)ing stupid.

Did she ever show you Pet Semetary? That movie was seriously creepy, even creepier than the book. |

I just read a few older King books in the last few months, ones I never had before like Needful Things & The Cell. There's movies for both I have to see, heard from my brother The Cell movie is awful but got to check it out anyway. |

The Cell was a pretty decent book.
It's a big commitment, but the Stand is one of my favorite books of all time, if you have the time and energy to read a 1,200 page book.

time to try one of the young D in Hartford? Ryan Graves anyone? I personally would much rather have him play than Glendening. At least with Graves i know he still has room to grow. Glendening is slow, small, and not very good. He is an ok bench player, but i dont know if i like him playing not knowing how long Staal may be out.
On a side note - any news on if Nash will play next game? |

Problem I found was even though its from just 11 years ago the technology has changed so much a lot of things seem outdated. Even the fact that it seemed a lot of people DIDN'T still have phones seems now preposterous. I did love the zombie angle though, zombies always add to the fun.
The Stand is a classic, but IT remains my favorite of all time as far as King goes. |

Where would he play? The likely 6 to play will be Mac, Skjei, Holden, Girardi, Klein, Clendening. |

it's a no brainer from the Rangers end, but I don't see why the Jets would want that - jimbro83
I think its a VERY fair trade. Miller has become a good top six player, and Trouba has had one good season. To be honest, don't see how its a no brainer for NYR.
I don't want to trade Kreider, Miller, or Hayes unless its for a "proven" player. Obviously, if its a multi-player trade than the parameters will change.
Shattenkirk, on the other hand , would require one of the 3 above to be part of deal.
Buch, in my opinion isn't available if Im Gorton. He shows tremendous promise, and until he plays a whole season...he's untouchable. Too much potential to let go as of now.
NYR NEEDS another dman, maybe two, if Staal can't play. Why not try to find two dmen who are dmen in the Holden mold? GUys who can move up and down lineup. Think its too much to ask to try and find a top two dman right now. Price is toooo high and their is toooo much competiition to acquire one. Forward depth is NYR strength and I know you have to give to get, but I don't want to mess w/ forward depth. Try and trade Pirri, lindberg, Klein, and (?), to try and get "dependable" dmen. Shattenkirk is the exception |
