Letang in La la land again. I'm thinking we need to find ourselves another dman. Letang rarely has bad games but when he does there is literally no one who can step up

I hated that movie too

He should replace Letang He is a much better power play guy and it would help cut down the number of minutes that Letang plays. Better shooter and passer

Seems sid has come back down to earth. Not scored a goal in what seems like ages. (frank)ing Jeff Carter is gonna catch up to him. Think about it... JEFF CARTER
Also the team played bad but sid could have saved us but he didn't

Relax . . . this schedule is bonkers! A week off, play a game, then three more nights off. What's the reward, play a team that's now won 7 in a row. These next 2 games will allow them to come together a little better after all this time off. I expect much better performances and W's in OTT and DET.

Why? We were not going to win the game so (frank) someone up. Old time hockey. As far as im concerned he was the only one still playing hockey at the end of the game. Everyone else was going through the motions waiting for the showers.

My concern is more about our away record, more so against playoff teams...Def not good. Lots of time to address it and getting guys like Olesky out of the line up will help.

Id feel a little better if they could somehow acquire a vet for the blueline before the deadline.

Would you do Pouliot for a vet?

Oduya, Stone or Wideman??

If we need to take out a linesman, Wideman's the man.

Or... He took a stupid penalty that put the game out of reach. The Pens were down by 2 when he did that. This team can easily score two goals in 7.5 minutes. Olesky trips a guy because he makes a brutal play that would have sent the caps on a 3 on 1. Guy doesn't belong in the NHL. That's the kind of play that gets one of the stars hurt because a hack like Wilson feels he has to retaliate.

Olesky can't be gone soon enough.

I would. DP has the same feeling as BB as far as never going to be a real contributor to this team. That 7th D spot is a liability and really the time is now for this team, not in a couple of years if/when DP figures it out.

Exactly my point in comparing him to Downie in this regard. The game wasn't out of hand yet and that penalty forced it. You can't have that mentality on this team especially when its struggling to score.

Nothing absurd about it, how many times has he given up the first goal and in and around the 2 minute mark? I don't know exactly but it I would say it feels like 85% ignoring time. I know Murray has been injured frequently this year but after the last decade plus MAF has been nothing but wildly inconsistent
- Dcoms

So after a quick internet search it looks like Fleury has started 23 games this year and has given up a goal in the first 2 minutes in 5 of those games 21.7% of the time. While I don't think anyone would say that is good it's no where close to the 85% that you perceived it to be. Maybe this is just ore evidence that you really don't comprehend what you are seeing when you watch hockey.
