Well Grant gets claimed, as you can see why it took so long to waive him because other hockey professionals see redeeming qualities. Not everyone is going to be a goal scorer. A team and world needs ditch diggers too.

Such a tough call. Not only do they have value to other teams, but they're giving your team value. I'm really liking Kane right now after almost a year and a half of bashing him. I just don't see them bringing in anything that will improve them more than Kane is able to do right now. Flyers' fan on their blog was saying they would think that Kane's price tag would be higher than Ryan's right now. That was good to read. Other team's fans' perception and perception is reality.

Kane is a tough call for two reasons: he has a $5Mill cap hit, and he has this aura of expectation.

I really like what he has done this season, in terms of his play on the ice, and in terms of staying out of the news unrelated to hockey. But it isn't "sniper" quality play, and we get about 2/3 that production from Foligno for half the money.
