Source made it clear #Panthers DC Sean McDermott is expected to be the #Bills next head coach, as @viccarucci has reported.

Looks like we got our coach next is McCoy with him I'm very excited

Remember Dwyer? Or were you out there already? It used to be Celino, Dwyer, and Barnes. There was another guy even for a short time, but then one of them got censured and was barred from practicing for a little while. Celino I think. I think I remember it being called "The Barnes Firm" for like 18 months.

i don remember Dwyer.....but sounds typically shady!

Depending on if Reinhart is going to be a future center or winger here I think we may or may not only keep one of Larsson and Girgensons.

Gionta's a goner after this year.

Ennis and Moulson would have two years left after this year, Bogosian would have three very long years left and Gorges would have a year left. Those four are the biggest contracts I'd like to ditch. If we can get rid of 2/4 going into next year I'd be happy. Unless of course Ennis comes back into his own the rest of the year.

Could have a lot of roster turnover.

- bluengold12

I wouldn't be so sure of that. I wouldn't be surprised if they bring him back again for another season at a discounted price.

Draisaitl has 4 points in 8 games

the gap is shrinking

- homiedclown

I don't need to compare Reinhart to the rest of his draft class or other #2 picks to appreciate that he's a good player for our team

I don't give 2 sh!ts about what Draisaitl does except when we play him

Now, if Reinhart actually did stink...
then I'd be willing to have a convo about how Murray made a bad pick

But he didn't
Reinhart is good

ennis, eichel, okposo
kane, reinhart, bailey
foligno, ror, baptiste
carrier, girgens, gionta

that would be our best lineup IMO, but will NEVER happen

- homiedclown

I think Moulson has scored enough that he should be getting more than the 6min of icetime he got against Philly

I guess I'd sub him for Carrier

I so hope that Vegas takes Moulson. I would give them a 5th and middling prospect to have them take Moulson off our hands. We need to open up room for Baptiste, Bailey, Carrier and Nylander next year. Plus Delo (good fight) is replaceable.
- SabreWest

I've be been saying all along that I think they might snag Carrier from us

I always joked with the wife that Celino and Barnes were cannibals and ate Dwyer.

Seven points out w 3 games in hand.

EDIT: I don't know what that means, other than were not out of it yet. Still a month of hockey to play before we can decide what direction to take at TDL. I'm hopeful the team continues "north hockey". It's fun.

I am glad the team won...and I'm glad its all finally starting to come together...

That being said I think it is coming together in spite of Disco.....stringing 1 or 2 wins together shouldn't blind GMTM to the reality that Disco's system doesn't fit the talent

Only saw the 2nd period...Jack should have had at least 2 A's last night....He fed Rino wide freakin open with a 3' hole in the net. Can anyone finish for this guy? Wow.

Good to see we have 2 goalies playing above average.

No the dilemma with Kane...he's producing at a nice clip...to trade, or not to trade, that is the question.

How's everyone feeling about the possibility of McDermott and if him, maybe McCoy.

I'm good with it. I don't know a ton about him other than what they said on GR this morning. But I do like the idea of McCoy. He's had a good amount of success in the past with QBs that aren't exactly in the upper echelon of the NFL.

I've never said don't play Nilsson when he's winning. Not once. Lehner is the starter, but not by a Miller/Enroth margin. Lehner gets first crack, and Nilsson gets select games and will keep playing if he plays well, but if he falters, even a little, it's right back to Lehner whereas Lehner will play and if he falters a little they see how he reacts. That's pretty much the only difference between the 2 at the moment. I'm not saying he played bad tonight, but he didn't exactly steal the game for the team either. He was pretty much a non-factor; like the goalie is most nights with this team.

I respect your posts, Wetbandit, but anyone watching the game last night and didn't see Nillson just stone the Flyers with a variety of great saves added to perfect positioning wasn't watching the same game. I'm not saying he should be our #1 Goalie, he should play the next game, The Lindy Way!

If Lehner has the same thing Carrier just got over, Nilsson will be in for the next game. Carrier lost 13 lbs last week with whatever that virus is that's going around. Lehner wasn't the only one under the weather either, though they didn't get into specifics of who else wasn't feeling 100%.

Seems like Disco gets a Free Coach's decision

If Lehner was 100% healthy, would you play him or Nillson ?

I would play Nillson and that doesn't mean he's our number 1, just says to player,
"Can you do that again?"

With Tampon struggling , might be another good game to get 2 more points . Time to make that run before the break.

The experimenting by disco should be done . Team is winning , why change it ? Isn't the reason to play the game is too win ?

On the flip side of that, what does it say to Lehner if he's healthy though? There's two ways to look at it.

I think Nilsson played well last night, and since Lehner probably won't be good to go on Thursday, he's going to get the chance to play the next one too. Being that there's back to back games to finish out the week, it'll be interesting to see what happens for Friday's game.
