Carle was a very good player here as a Flyer, and put up elite numbers at ES as a defenseman. That's with and without Pronger. I wish MacDonald was as good as Carle was when he was here. - MJL
yup carle and his shot that couldn't break tissue paper who was considered to be the worst dman in tampa

Man that one was so for you.
I knew you'd bite. - flyer_nutter
I didn't bite, I participated in the discussion.
Is that your objective? If so, pretty sad.
You just suggested calling up Laughton. |

The idea of Adam Sandler getting punched in the face repeatedly makes me happy in a dark time such as this game. |

My objective is to entertain myself when the team isn't doing so. Who knows really. |

Me too. I never really liked that guy. Anyone could have played that role in Happy Gilmore.

By the way, 13 of the last 23 even strength goals allowed by the Flyers have occurred with Macdonald on the ice.
Tried to warn you guys about how unsustainable his numbers were when everyone was saying he was "playing well."
He continues to struggle and he's really been a drag on Provorov |

MJL don't see how you see Ghost as our best player tonight. Whole team has been average but Ghost was caught on his gamely 2 on 1 that Mason bailed him on . He's been better than lately but still don't see see what your seeing. Would like to trade Ghost for Duchene in Coloado, Provy could move to first unit then next year with Streit gone Sanheim could man the second unit. Ghost is gonna want 5 million next year , that's a lot of money for a poweplay specialist that has been terrible in his own end. |

Someone has to tell Manning to stop fighting. Not sure what he gets out of being a punching bag. |

He is marvelous with the puck. Special player that you guys haven't had in quite some time - Just5
Yea. Tank snark be dammed. the "Suffering" was well worth it.
SO what do the Flyers do. This team is a playoff team.
Seems like a bad stretch.
I assume they try to find a steady 3-4 D-man, much like anyone else. |

What's the one line? Please don't say the one with 14. Dude kills any transition game and most cycles.
Matt "I do a lot of things well" Read should be on a 3rd line. Raffl as well. - flyer_nutter
Funny you should say that, I said two years ago they should have traded him when he had more value. He is soft, cant score, and has very little creativity. On top of that when he is not injured he screws up his lines. Good for killing penalties, the only players I really do not care for. But this is just my opinion. He comes back and the team is in a bigger mess, win 10 in a row without him, go figure

Wheezie make a nice move at the blue line then basically gives it to the Buffalo d-man.
What a colossal disappointment he has been. |

Dead on, Gost is ahl at best in his own end. Provorov will make him expendable on the pp unit in the near future, just give him the chance. |

Really man? |

Simmonds is a really good fighter, just doesn't make sense for him to take himself off the ice for 5 mins as well as risk injury fighting role players.
Flyers haven't had anyone who could fight since Brashear. |
