right now, too may black holes offensively...
G and Jake arent doing much.
SImmonds is cold
Coots is what he is this season.
TK is a rookie who isnt doing much right now.
Schenn is the same as Coots..
THen you have the bottom 6 and thats even worse.
That will balance out..the bigger issue for me is no one seems to get mad..I get it..only a 2 goal deficit but someone show some emotion. - opeth_pa

I'm almost hoping the flyers don't make the playoffs they need a ton of help. Just not a lot of talent on the roster. |

He's so talented. But he just always rubs me the wrong way. There's just something about his game that just seems lazy and half-assed. All that talk about comparing him to McDavid, and he definitely is showing they weren't in the same universe. Eichel will accumulate points, but I don't know if he'll ever be a true game changer, Cup winning type. Forget the points: McDavid is a really good 2-way player too. I remember reading that scouts had Eichel above Matthews too. Not even close either. Matthews is the real guy who has a case to even be anywhere near McDavid.
I would probably take Marner also. - Mononoke
You should be an NHL scout. |

They have decent pieces.
Up front need a 2C and to fix the bottom 6.That bottom 6 needs to be addressed in the off season, and it shouldn't be super hard to do. It's a big weak link. |

That's half your team. In trying to compensate we get garbage in garbage out. I would argue that they need a first line left winger. On top of needing a second line center that can score that leaves a lot to be desired. I'm not even getting into the defense dumpster fire. That should work itself out. |

Hey, did you miss the part where I called him supremely talented? He's phenomenally skilled. He just leaves something lacking watching him. He'll make his skill plays and then go invisible or struggle to create without space. I know you won't get this because you only pay attention to the 5 seconds surrounding a goal. I said he will be someone who scores a lot, but when the going gets tough, it wouldn't surprise me to see him struggle to make as big an impact when not on the PP. I said I'd take Matthews and Marner over him. Not Rubtsov. He's still really good.
Do you purposefully try to start stuff with me and then play the poor little martyr? |

Yup. Outside of Lube and Raffl that whole bottom 6 can go in my eyes. |

They dont need a ton of help..They need 1-2 years as they have a substantial number of prospects.

The forward prospects remain to be seen. Meanwhile Giroux keeps getting older. By then Giroux may be your second line center. Who is the first line center then? |

I buy that to extent. Finding a 2C or quality d help takes time and probably drafting.
To fix a bottom 6 shouldn't be searching for the holy grail with Sean Connery. |

The coach is gonna get himself fired with the way he is playing those lines, holy poop! You don't put a cull on every line. |

The change made a little sense to try and shake them like babies.
He negated every single line. Enough. |

Essentially we have one line. I get trying to find a second line that can generate offense but the inconsistency blows that idea up. |
