is that a deal breaker for her?

Would it surprise you if I told you that after my experience with coprophagia and cannibalism, that I'm very open to try necrophilia?

I agree in general, although I don't like Gudbranson.. However, at present, without knowing who the mystery D is, Manning is the choice by default.

It could be Pulock. Doesn't seem like the Islanders can protect him so he might he available for cheap.

per dave isaac, Coots is finally 3C...should help him be effective tonight

MDZ-Gudas has been the top pairing for a little while now. But Dave isn't very observant.

they also have too many forwards though, so exempt players are probably what they would target. The other reason they might not trade him is they figure they have like 4 guys that could be picked and vegas can only pick 1

Weird thing. He went to Chicago and his possession stats rose and his points cratered, in comparison to the more loosey goosey system in Montreal. This year in Philly? Same exact thing. It's like he can't have his cake and eat it too. I know the possession stats seem flukey.....but they're kind of not. He's no Raffl to be clear. Raffl is an elite play driver among the best in the entire league at it. But that doesn't have to be the standard. And it's not like he's spent most of the year with our best players either.

Charlie O'Connor always mentions how excellent Weise is at generating entries and how good in general he is as a NZ play. And he really is watching him closely, breaking up so many plays and being positionally sound. He actually does have some really good possession tendencies in the NZ, and even the DZ. It's OZ in that has been the trouble. He looks shaky knowing where to go, he isn't shooting. Is that confidence? I don't know. He has looked better lately. Believe it or not though, he leads the team in RelxGF%. He's actually close to the bottom in RelxGF/60. But his defense, RelxGA/60, has been right at the top. He's having a season much like Meat did last year. Same strength in the details but an inability to produce and often looking lost in the o-zone.

Would you rather the league track wins not based on goals scored but on who wins the most fancy stat categories?

Please don't be a smart ass. I'm just pointing out that his 2-way play has been better than advertised and with his past history there's a chance the scoring can turn around. I was never a fan of the signing, didn't want him and still don't want him, and he's been a disappointment. It is a silver lining and no more.

Funny stat. It's so fancy you'll need a monocle to read it .

Want to know who leads the Flyers in 5v5 goal differential? Raffl, Read, and Weise -- the causes of never ending complaining. It's almost like you can win games by outscoring opponents and not just scoring a lot......

The Flyers do seem to be emulating the Kings a bit. But if they won a Cup while not scoring a lot of goals, I'm sure it would have an asterisks next to it in the minds of many.

Alright. He reminds me a lot of Read of last year. Not disputing the stats but from my vantage point he's been hugely disappointing. There's a lot of free agents out there capable of playing an honest 2 way game. The other thing is Quenneville coaching a subpar Hawks team last year seemingly had little use for him. Ill trust his assessment over a Therrien or even Hextall.

2 way play better than advertised? I don't see it. Offense has always been one of those ways. I love how players like him, VDV, Bellemare are often referred to as good two way players.

Except Weise actually has been solid in every zone but the o zone. Anyone who digs further than hockey cliches and superficial info knows that VDV and Bellemare are a mess defensively. And offensively. And every which way. Weise has been a mess scoring this season, but the gruesome twosome have been a mess their whole NHL careers. They're no way players.
