I couldn't be more satisfied with moving two underperforming players, with very questionable status on becoming eventual NHL players for the hardest working, talented player in his prime, a Centerman with proven NHL success is not cheap, His ability to shield Jack and not throw him to the wolves proved to be wise to boot

they could have shielded him either way just means it would have taken longer to reach being a great team. Which is fine since the probability of being a great team would have been significantly higher as well.

He told us he would excel the rebuild if a player 25 or under became available.

He gets an A grade with ROR for Freakarenko & Zadorov

He gets an A for signing the #1 Free Agent on the market, Kyle Ockposo

He gets a B for the Myers/Armia for Bogosian/Kane trade, KANE will remain the BEST player of that trade for the remainder of his career, IMHO.

He gets a C+ for trading a late 1st rounder for a young, talented, unproven goalie.

He gets a D- for trading McNabb for Fasching & D-Lo

He doesn't speak over the media/fans, he is direct and truthful. I for one am glad we have him.

I'm not a huge fan of Bylsma, but time will tell.

I dont hate either of those players individually. The plan TM set out was bold which is nice in theory. But the hits dont make up for the misses. Nothing was actually accelerated, we're still a bottom 10 team.
