Clean or dirty, anyone else pick up on how not only in these two examples, but other big Hits of Jake's that he leads with his head? Effectively head butting his opponent, as opposed to leading with his shoulder which would still remove the player from the play, but would save both Jake and his target from injury.

Although the hits were "clean", they're also dangerous for both parties.

Game time the lines change up a bit on the fly. sometimes a player gets caught up ice or the play changes . Player isn't able to get off in time .

don't know...kinda liked that 9-23-56 line...

however, I do know i'll be watching the 9-28-12 line as Gionta seems to be making his linemates better, see 22,82, 28 and even 90 upon his return

I think they are trying to keep Eichel's minutes spent in a better manner.

Had he not gotten injured this might be a different situation where he is killing penalties but the last thing they need it Eichel taking a shot off the foot killing a penalty.
