Has anyone called Laine's mom yet to find out about his concussion history?

Because I'm tired of Laine's attitude - I'm not going to protect him anymore.

- Atomic Wedgie

The concsussion isn't funny... what I find funny though, is that someone on here said last year that Laine was going to eventually get concussed in the NHL because he's got amazing speed and thinks he can go around everyone... Guess what? Someone didn't let him though.... ouch. He'll have to find another way to get around people else he won't last long in the league....

I'm kind of scared for McDavid too... Guys likes that have to watch out because they'll eventually get wrecked.

ya, no its not.
He gave them the best chance to win.
He had a bad night.
It happens.

nothing wrong about it.

goalies are poop on b2b
a rested backup gives you just a good a chance.. doesnt makes sense to push your #1

an average goalie performance and the Leafs get a point out of that game

False. Nobody has ever said Laine's got amazing speed other than Jason Allison.

not all...and not all the time.
Anderson allowed 1 goal against over his last back to back stretch.
No guarantee a back provides average goaltending either.

Anderson gave you the best chance to win. Had an off night.

That was against the tow worst teams in the league, not the Montreal Canadiens. In hindsight Babs should have started Bibeau against the Devils, but it doesn't matter now.

Babcock looked at the Habs lineup and thought they were the worst team in the league

Still managing to win, and it wasn't because Price was excellent. He looked rather beatable on Saturday.

Yeah, I'm gonna disagree on that.

He looked franking fantastic.

Not a lot of hope on saving the Leafs' goals. They were also fantastic (Marner )

they find a way to score goals lately, pretty surprising considering the injuries they have.

Grannberg on waivers. Don't remember much about him while he was here, other than he was paired with Marincin and they both looked like giraffes on skates.

Also the Monster was waived, and so was curtis mcellhinney.

Curtis might be a decent upgrade over our backups.

From my couch it looked like he had a couple squeak through the pads. I'm not saying he looked awful, just subpar by Carey Price standards.

I think Babcock's logic was Andersen had the whole week off, wanted to get him the start against Montreal for sure so he put him in against Jersey to get him ready and into form.

It's not like Andersen played Tuesday or Wednesday and then B2B.

I think we're just not used to having a legit starter so it's unfamiliar to see one goalie play B2Bs. It happens with Quick, Crawford, Lundquist....all the true #1s play B2Bs....especially if their team has 18 in one season and want to make the playoffs.

PS...we really don't have a true #2 we can rely on yet, so looking at the standings getting 4 points would have been great before the break.

Clock ticks.....but that would be a good pick up for us.

(Bibeau just isn't ready IMO. Might never be.)

historically the numbers show that using a backup on one of the games gives you a better chance.

The issue is not about how days off after ...its playing 2 games in a row.

NJ is not very good would have made sense imo to give that game to the backup. Save Andersen for the division rival and more important game all rested.

they still might have only gotten 2 points.. but maybe its against Montreal which is better
