When you have both defensemen not doing their jobs a goalie when facing a 2 on 1 reads the play based on what the man back is doing and since Risto didn't do a thing Lehner couldn't anticipate anything but keep blaming him.

Ive noticed plenty of girgs, hasnt resulted in anything. he may not have the speed or strength to be 'noticed' but hes probably one of only 2 guys on this team who can make that pass

I like Murray when it comes to drafting, but I don't like Murray being in charge of our assets. He's like a drunk with a pocket full of cash at a flea market. Someone else is about to have a good day and we're coming home with a pile of chit. To be fair, Murray may already be changing that or has changed it as you would have thought he would have given up the 8th overall plus for Fowler with how badly they needed and need a Dman like him, yet he didn't give in.

Perhaps that was the signal that he's changing and is sticking to a long term plan knowing the team wouldn't be great again this season.
