Hilarious by the way.
Can people please stop suggesting we trade Nylander? Trading a 20 year old rookie that's on pace for around 60 points seems like a monumentally stupid idea. Terrible idea MIB unless we're getting blown away with the return.
Edit. Ah, looks like Friedman is the idiot that suggesting trading Nylander. Sorry Mike. Lets just get back to the good ole trade Kadri blogs.

What kind of return are people really expecting for Tyler Bozak? The leafs are better off keeping him until his contract plays out. Maybe they can move him at next year's deadline but to move him this year for say a second round pick makes no sense. The same goes for Komarov. JVR on the other hand NEEDS to be traded before his contract is up. It might make sense to wait until the summer though. No way in hell Toronto resigns JVR and if you really think so then you're clueless..
Gents, if Andersen stays healthy and plays as he's demonstrated over the past couple months, this team is playoff bound. Stay the course and keep the patience.
The only trade I would make is a JVR for a young RHD.
Kadri
Matthews
Bozak
Goat
Up the middle isn't half bad.
With the expansion comping up, I believe we will somehow steal a top 4 D for next season.

Trading Nylander is utterly (frank)ing brain dead. No team is gonna give up what it take to move him anyway. He's under the radar right now because of AM and MM, but he's gold.

It shouldn't. Leafs shouldn't sell the future to make the playoff. It's important for the young core to experience that but they shouldn't sell the farm for it.

yeah, getting to the playoffs would hurt this team because moving up 5 or so spots in the draft is more important than getting playoff experience for the rooks.. Think about it, it would be a huge confidence booster, attract good free agents, 100th year cellys.... We already wont be able to afford all the talent...
but yeah, lets all be masochistic and hope for just 82 games...
